Rosebud Deerfield

We haven't been to Rosebud in over a year. We were pleased to see the new layout. Requested a table in a "quiet" area and lucked out. The service was excellent as was the food. The portions were very large and more than enough to share. Prices are a little high, but inline with similar restaurants. We will be back soon.

Service was kinda slow. Felt like I was bothering the staff asking for help. Everyone knows bruschetta comes w a slice of fresh mozzarella. Not this one! shaved mozzarella was dry, no flavor, it was mostly tomato and bread. Disappointing. When i asked what the Delmonico steak was, i got a look like I was dumb. All I understood is that it's a steak that comes from Dominican Republic. Yeah.... Umm. Not words for that. I would like to go back. But, my experience wasn't something that makes me want to go back. It's so close to my home. Was hoping for better service and better menu.

We came at a quiet time - 3pm. Perfect table for 6 backing up to screened outside patio. Service - phenomenal. Skirt steak special with parm crust was delicious, perfectly cooked. Othe entrees enjoyed immensely by others. Banana pie to die for. Great experience!

Entrees were excellent; service was very good. Better to sit outside if it's not raining or too hot/cold. Quieter outside, where we've sat before.

Server was not good and when I asked for a side for my steak he said it doesn't come with a side (I guess) whattt!!! You guess? Go and ask .. then he brings a side of pasta which I was surprised since he said it doesn't have a side then he responded when I asked what's this? He was like I GUESS IT COMES WITH A SIDE... lol Come on!!! If I knew I would order a side of veggie... anyway... don't go to this location.. two experiences so far and each time it was way worse. Food is great but for this service or I would say for a 0 service It is overpriced.

Cocktails and wine are way overpriced. I suggest bringing a bottle of wine and paying the 25.00 cork fee instead.

Our server Norma was fantastic. We were actually able to sit outside and had a wonderful meal.

Initially a little confusion when a pop-up rain storm forced all outside diners inside. Our reservation could not be honored immediately but we sat the bar and they comped us our first drink. Decided to eat at the bar, service was very good and food was excellent. Very nice dining room with light colored walls and lots of windows. We will go back soon.

Rosebud, delivers, consistently outstanding. After spending 10 mos., in AZ. my first stop after getting picked up at O'Hare, my first stop was dinner at Rosebud, love the eggplant stack, chopped, but I miss your fabulous breadsticks.Scottsdale, could use a Rosebud!

It was our first time dining at this location. The service and food were fantastic! Two thumbs up for the jalapeño margaritas. Perfection! Thanks we had a great time.

Every time I make a reservation we are immediately given a crappy table by the front door. Then we are given tables near the kitchen or bathroom. Not sure why

The star of the show was the brick chicken. The only thing shinning brighter was my gal! Shhh, don't tell the bird. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection last night. Impressive, as the kitchen was on overdrive, due to the Easter/Passover holiday. Every tender bite was surrounded by a perfect crispy skin. Even, the littlest of appetites will want more! Again, similar to a Peking duck in ( Chicago )China town! The portion is enough to split. It's was accompanied by delicately seasoned spinach. Thank you for a wonderful meal! Bravo to the chef last night!

Always excellent. Great service and food is exceptional. The specials are creative and delicious. Sea bass preparations are a favorite. Danny at the bar is a 10/10.

One of my favorite restaurants in the North Shore! Truly a city experience and meal with all the convenience of the burbs.

The Brick chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Was not as crispy on the bottom as we like. We're very particular and have been comparing it to several unicorn moments. Still, it was super delicious! Chopped salad is always a treat and consistent! Generously loaded with goodies. Rosebud unlike most restaurants is not cutting back in this climate. They still serve generous portions, that please the palate!
