I love this place. Food and service are great. I've eaten here for breakfast and lunch and haven't had a bad meal or experience.

There is no signage at the door to notify you otherwise, the server told us after we sat down that the accountant group that owned it decided it was too much work and want out, so owner is purchasing. Closing down in two weeks from date of my tip for remodel and name change. The establishment is in a state of going out of business, half the taps at the bar are depleted as they reduce inventory, and skeleton crew. When we were in there, the place was totally empty, but then again, it was a Monday night. What is up with Bells draft beers now at $7 plus?

Came here last night with one of my friends to watch the Cubs game and it was a nice low-key atmosphere. Lots of TV's and a cool layout of the place. Sweet potato fries combined with Sam Adams' Oktoberfest beer was a good decision. Service was great! Definitely recommend if you're local or passing through and are looking for a spot to watch a game.

My wife and I recently went in for dinner. She had a glass of wine and I had a Guinness. For dinner, she had a chicken entree with sides of green beans and I had the chicken parm sandwich. We also split a bucket of tots. Our bill came to $70 with tip which didn't seem appropriate considering the green beans were obviously from frozen bags and so was the chicken. I'm not sure what bread they used for my sandwich but it was oversized and spongy and obscured any of the flavor of the dish. The tots were great but couldn't save the experience. At these prices I would expect fresh food prepared on the day. If you're going to serve frozen food that is just being reheated, these prices are too high.

Came in here for the first time the other night after a softball game. On the plus side, the food was decent enough (had fried zucchini, wings and pizza) and the service was very attentive. However, the prices were astronomical and our server's propensity to up-sell EVERYTHING was a complete turnoff (from up-selling an import beer instead of a domestic to even trying to get us to add additional ingredients on our pizza). I see no reason to return.

I enjoyed this place. I'd have to say it is a classic sports bar location next to the train tracks in Deerfield. I thought the inside of the restaurant was just alright; clean, but the booths are quiet uncomfortable. The menu however has a large selection of ideas from salads and sandwiches to fish, steak, and ribs. Large beer list and martini list. Went out with the family here. My dad ordered the salmon served with rice and vegetables. And an option of a side salad (house or casear) or a cup of soup. My mother ordered the pesto chicken sandwich with a side of fries (you pick your side). My bother ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries as well. I ordered the Cobb Salad with Bleu cheese dressing and a side of tots. We all also shared the Southwest Rolls as an appetizer I tried a bite of the two sandwiches. The pesto was alright and the buffalo was better than the pesto but not quiet as much spice as I'd like. My salad was delicious. The southwest rolls were amazing, served with BBQ Ranch dressing (tasty, mostly ranch than BBQ). I also indulged in 3 martinis. Strawberry Banana (the best out of these 3) with a sugar rim, Tropical - also with a sugar rim and an orange slice, and Key Lime - foamy with a cherry at the bottom. They're very strong but delicious. I will definitely go back here and would recommend this place. Go check it out and enjoy!!

Not sure what happened with this place. Hadn't been in a while so decided to have lunch with the family after my son's baseball game. He and I ordered a pizza. The waiter brought out parmesan cheese that we both used on our slices. My 11-year-old son looked at me and said "something is wrong". I smelled the parmesan and it was beyond spoiled. So I had to send the 2 slices away and he brought out another container (which smelled slightly better but we avoided). After eating the slice of pizza I immediately started having stomach cramps which inspired me to write this review. Service was ok but I should also mention that one of the plates we received for the meal was very dirty. What a shame. I will never return to this mess...

Really the only option when looking for a sports bar in the area. Lots of great TVs but they did have some problems with the signal the last time we dined there on account of poor weather. While I am a fan of the sports bar atmosphere there is plenty of room for improvement here. While they have wide range of beer choices listed on the menu all they don't list the beer prices. We find this very annoying. We have to have to ask our server about each one to make a decision. Also, they are often out of the beers listed on the menu. Just when you think you know what you want - nope they are out of stock. Then our complaint is the service itself. The servers are very uninterested in actually providing service. On our most recent visit our waiter walked around looking bored out of his skull yet would never look directly at us. Even when we were calling for his attention he would ignore us. We were there to watch the hockey game we practically had to check him to get any service or refills. The food is fine of average sports bar selection and quality. Let's face it, you don't come here for the food. We have only tried some of the appetizers and pizza. Certainly edible but nothing to cheer for.

We have friends who are thinking of moving to Lake County so we wanted to show off--of course we chose Bobby's! We got exceptional treatment at the bar, they timed our moving to the table well as we wanted a drink before sitting down and our waiter was friendly, funny and on top of everything. (oA lot of restaurants are touting their Halibut. No one does fish better than Bobby's (usually 3 specials a night) but their fennel crusted Halibut was just perfect--get there while it's in season. If not for the great schools and good real estate values, our friends might move to Deerfield just to visit Bobby's more often.

Trax continues with inconsistency. This time the service was better but the food has Deteriorated. Lots of TVs make it good for sports viewing, but $80 for beers and burgers leave me wanting a better venue.

The food is mediocre at best. Had the smoke house sampler. Store bought pulled pork. Burnt ribs and liquid smoke chicken. Frozen corn on the cob over cooked and dry. Onion rings and coleslaw bland. Not even close to the menu description. 22+dollars is just taking advantage of the area the restaurant is in. No self respected chef should put their name to this abomination

I had the Ruben Sandwich. A filling portion of above average quality corned beef topped with kraut and thousand island dressing. I enjoyed the sandwich but had to order an extra side of thousand island because it would have been dry without. The side of tots was also a large portion. Washed it down with a Blue Moon beer which hit the spot. The dining area had plenty of TV's to catch up on all your sports. The service was mostly good and friendly. One we were done, it took a while to get my tab. The food is good and lots of variety. The prices are mostly reasonable as well. I'm typically nearby so I'll probably be back. Food: 4 stars Environment: 4 starts Service: 4 stars Value: 3 stars

If Yelp had a "Boring Bars" category, this would be at the top of the list. It's a nice place - lots of tvs, good selection of craft beer, great sports decor, and the food is decent, but the crowd is boring! It's mostly an older crowd, business execs, divorcees, etc. and they're really, really quiet. I haven't been here during any games, but I'm praying the crowd is at least a fraction more raucous when there is a game on tv. I wouldn't label this as a craft beer place, but like I said before, good selection from light to dark. But they don't have Jack Fire, just Jim Beam fire and Fireball aka antifreeze, and the JB Fire tasted like Diet Coke. Gross. Not going to go back here, unless I need a really quiet place to take a nap.
