First and foremost, the quality of the food you are getting on the boards is phenomenal. They are a real treat. The owner and his daughter are both very knowledgeable and very sweet. The owner recommended a few red wines we loved that paired well with our food. My partner and I know little about wine but didn’t feel nervous asking any questions. Thanks for a great birthday meal for him!
Went in on a Monday night about an hour before they were set to close. The environment was great? Lively without being loud. Everything is very reasonably priced. Their wine bottle selection is on the smaller side, but still offers a formidable and solid selection. The owner was very attentive and willing to share his knowledge. Would really enjoy returning here
We had a wonderful time today. Thank you.
This place is amazing!
I always come here whenever I'm in Dekalb and this place never disappoints! From great wines (we always leave with a bottle to take home) to yummy charcuterie boards to even delicious dinners every Sunday night, it's a great place to visit for a nice, laid back atmosphere to enjoy some wine + cocktails.
Fantastic Charcuterie Boards and Flavorful Drinks! We tried the Duncan, Ted, and Natalie charcuterie boards, and they were absolutely incredible! Each board had a perfect variety of flavors and textures that paired beautifully with the drinks. Speaking of drinks, they were full of bold, unique flavors and worth every penny. This spot is a must-visit for anyone who loves a great food and drink experience. We'll definitely be returning for more!
very welcoming! this was my 1st visit, but it felt like walking into a room of old friends. excellent craft cocktails, a wine selection meticulously procured, and delicious charcuterie boards. and metal music. a combination i didn't know i needed but ended up loving. bestie & i had a blast! i live 3 hours away but a trip here will be top of my list next time i'm in the area!
Such a quiet and friendly bar compared to others in the area. Much more laid back and good for all adult ages. They host great events and always have fantastic dinners on Sundays! Tom is incredibly knowledgeable about wine and makes everyone feel welcome. There is always local art for sale, the prices on wine and charcuterie are very low (and especially on the Sunday dinners), and the wine club membership is a steal on top of the prices.

They have very fair prices for both food and wine, and if you dive into the specials, you will get to experience some amazing cheese and wine, as well as some very well-balanced wine to go with them.
For my personal review, keep in mind, we visited during Corn Fest, when they were dealing with a lot of people coming in for the $5 sangria and 5 wine tasting for $5. We came in, and were greeted kindly, and sat at the bar, for the 5 wine tasting for $5. There was a gentleman who acted as our server, but I suspect to be the owner, who was extremely knowledgeable about each wine he was serving. The 1st wine he served, a Portuguese unripened white wine, was absolutely delightful, the 2nd, which was another white, was quite tannic, and may be very nice with the cheese and meat, but didn't connect. A 3rd, which was a delightful Pinot Noir, from a warm climate, but was pleasant, and then a 4th, which was a Cabernet. The 4th and 5th options were made by a different server. It might have been my fault, acting dismissive of his explanation of the 3rd wine, but I felt he took it very personally. I would absolutely advice anyone coming to DeKalb for a nice dinner, which won't make them feel bloated, to go to this restaurant.

This unique place is worth a visit! Tom has created a special vibe- there are charcuterie boards with crafted liquors and wines in a wonderful conversation inspiring locale. Monday night is Trivia night and it’s great fun- bring friends for a group effort or go alone and join a group for the win! You get Steve from Byers Brewery as a bonus! He is always creating and modifying the menu and wine choices- join the wine club for more fun- show up on Sunday for Tom’s dinner and he’s the chef-Wednesday noon for weekly delivery of wine and help him choose the weekly specials! Never a dull moment and he is so open to ideas and suggestions and let’s talk about great music that is always on! This is a special place that embodies small town friendliness with a curated flair. What are you waiting for???

Amazing find in downtown DeKalb! Wine selection (and store!!) unparalleled outside (and sometimes inside) major cities. Owner was super nice and very knowledgeable about wine from all corners of the world. Very chill and casual - had a relaxing, lovely evening. Cheers!

I’m not usually one to post reviews, but Class VI is the best! Every time we go in there we get to explore and learn about new delicious wines and pair them with the fantastic charcuterie boards. The staff are very welcoming of everyone and are great with helping you choose new wines! I’d recommend joining the wine club as well if you are even a casual wine drinker because it’s a lot of fun!

You only find special wines here, but the prices are very reasonable. The charcuterie is extremely well thought out with combinations that create new flavors. The people are the best!
