Ellwood Steak and Fish House

Decided to visit this location and was received by a friendly staff, followed by the owner. He recommended a stake. The chef was able to create a great sauce (with ingredients i requested)to a perfectly cooked medium well NY steak. Delish!

If there is one place to visit in Dekalb it is this place. Honestly you’d probably leave happy if you went in full and ordered anyway. The food was that good. All of the staff was super attentive, and a special shout out to my server Hannah. She was funny, charming, and made the experience stand out. The atmosphere was great if a bit chilly, but nothing a long sleeve or light cover can’t handle. I got the Saturday Surf and Turf special, but wish I had gotten the full portions. Cannot wait to come back!

I used to come here every month but the food has almost become too salty to eat. I gave 2 stars, and hurts, because the food used to be 4 or 5. Nice place, probably best place for a nice dinner in the area. Hope their food improves. I havent been back for a while. Love the music!

A great experience in all aspects. Great food, super friendly accommodating staff, not rushed. Meeting friends we see only maybe once a year and it was a great experience. Server understood. I hope my tip reflected how pleased I was overall with everything!!!!! My Filet was outstanding!!! We will be back.

Excellent food. Rib Eye and Filet were both cooked perfectly. Calamari was amazing. Great place for an awesome steak dinner

Great service and atmosphere and we wanted to love it, but.... Baked potato was undercooked and barely warm. Steak ordered medium was VERY red. Rolls dry and slightly burned on the bottom. Very disappointed

Tightly packed and noisy. Not a laid back atmosphere that an expensive steak house should be. Good service. Sea Bass was great but steak salad very run of the mill. Calamari was very good and saganaki was excellent. Approaching a Texas Road House Density though.
