We had a reservation but still had a 20 minute wait, busy place. Once we were seated we were greeted by a delightful server. She was definitely doing the best she could but was taking care a lot of tables. Not sure if this typical or not since this was our first visit. The service was a little slow but she was hustling with all she was juggling. We started with a couple of small plates-- Roasted Brussel Sprouts and the Steak Quesadilla and both were very good. The Pico was spicy....
Had a great dinner with some co-workers. We have been traveling along and so unfortunately eat out most night. Ellwood steakhouse was the best we have found for a quality meal in months! The Ellwood trio was a hit with my buddy. I found the 20oz Porterhouse to be very well aged at 35 days, and it was cooked to perfection, rare. Fresh cooked veggies and sides were great.
