We ate at the bar since we needed to go quick. Beer selection was good. Bartenders were great. Food prep time was poor. Overall food was good. The Cajun fried potato salad is worth a second visit just by itself

I really want to give this place the benefit of the doubt, because my friend and I went pretty early, but in terms of the food quality, atmosphere, and general vibe it was pretty lack luster. If you want a place with good drinks and stuff for the night, use other reviews to decide. But if you want a local stop for food, there are better options, better bar and grill options, in the Dekalb/Sycamore area. Again, I want to give the benefit of the doubt, their specialty is the bar and game nights, so there are for sure things that I missed.

We walked in and no one was there to seat us. We asked someone and they said they didn’t know if there was any seating and we had to look. I was a little annoyed by that. We found seating and everything was super quick with ordering and eating. All the servers seemed overworked and stressed. Everything was super fast paced and impersonal. I ordered the little boy and the burger was super underwhelming and mediocre. The only good things were the potato salad and coleslaw. I will probably not come here again.
Maybe less squirrel activity during outdoor meal!
