Finally went to this famous place. Mostly because their potato salad was highly recommended. Well I have to say i was not impressed. Way to much bacon so you really couldn't taste the potatoes. Chose the tex mex hamburger 🍔 I gave it an 7.5 it was not well done like asked. It was very noisy and extremely loud. It was nice having a free sample of whiskey though. I probably go back but during lunch hour and see if its better. The waitress was great. She was awesome....

Stopped here on a whim after an NIU soccer match. Wasn't expecting too much, but Fatty's definitely exceeded expectations. The service was fast and friendly, the menu was large without being overwhelming, and the portions were huge... all for a reasonable price.
Both the Huskie Burger and the Cubby Bleu chicken sandwich were delicious. And definitely opt for the potato salad side. You won't be disappointed.
Definitely worth the stop.

Very nice menu. Yummy food and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Love sitting outside when the weather is in your favor. Our go-to restaurant in DeKalb when we want to sit back and enjoy some really good food.

My wife loves the Cajun potato salad while I like the Windsor Fruit Salad. Highly recommended.
