personally i think the bouncer miguel needs to get fired went out for drinks for a coworkers birthday and he was being beyond rude, unprovoked, as we were walking up and getting our i.d's out. then as we were walking out he made a slick comment to my friends boyfriend and i was about ready to go to jail; if you can't stand to be around ppl who're drinking then why are you working at a known college bar LMAO was my first time there and most likely my last

I went on a Friday fairly early around 9:00 and it was starting to get busy around 11:00-11:30. Seems like a good bar. The beer was around normal prices. The staff was pleasant. I did not try any food.

There are many bars at Northern Illinois University, but I believe Molly’s is the best. Molly’s is a bar on campus that has a great atmosphere and great prices. The first thing I noticed about this bar was the decor. It had posters of bands on the wall and it gave off a very cool vibe. The second thing I noticed was how cheap their drinks were compared to other bars around campus. For example, you can get two beers for $5 which is an amazing deal considering most places charge around $7-$10 for just one beer.Vegetarian options: w foodKid-friendliness: good for kids

I sat at the bar and the manager not once approached me. She went around to make sure everyone else was fine, even offered them water but not once looked my way. The bartender did a phenomenal job making sure I was taken care of but the blonde, middle aged woman who wore a black polo that night didn't even look my way. I am very disappointed with her managerial skills.

Food typical bar food. Service was extremely slow and there were not many customers. 2 other tables besides mine.
Cool spot to have a few drinks with friends and get a bite to eat.It's pretty typical bar food...chicken tenders, wings, burgers, etc.
Strong frat boy energy. If you're looking for a college bar this is your best bet.
