I’m a fairly frequent customer at this location recently. The owner is very helpful but today I encountered one of the worst experiences here. I placed an order for takeout which consisted of wings and I only received 1 single half filled mild sauce. Upon arrival I looked into my bag and ask the person in the front if they could possibly give me some more sauce since that’s what I asked for when I placed my order originally. They responded saying they couldn’t do anything for me other than charging, me again. When I originally ordered extra sauce to begin with. When I asked to speak to management I was told he wasn’t available to speak to guest at that time but came out the back once this review was getting written to technically fix the situation. It shouldn’t take for a customer to say they are writing a review for action to be taken place. Being proactive is vital for me to continue to be a paying, loyal customer . I don’t recommend eating here anymore nor do I plan to return.

My first time dining here and everything was perfect. Great customer service, the inside of the restaurant was extremely clean, my food was fresh and delicious. The area is safe. Not sure what others are speaking of. Heavily lit area next to the NIU campus.

Food always undercooked they always get my order wrong they give little wings and little amount of fries and there customer service sucks so bad I do not recommend ordering from here ever.

Unfortunately located in a bad area so get the food to go or have delivery from an app. The food is so good and prices are crazy cheap for how great the food is how much you get. 100% worth it. Just be safe. Don't go alone and waite in your car for your order to go or call head. Do not bring your children to this area! Pictures look cute and restaurants very colorful but the area is very dangerous.

I got the gyro sandwich and it comes with fries & a soda for $10.98!!!! Wow fresh and delicious. I guess this a great deal… cheaper than McDonald’s. You do get your money’s worth. Definitely worth it and I’ll be trying some other things. They even add feta cheese to the gyros…not my preference. Give it a try.

First and foremost, the food is great. Tastes just like some of the food from the old neighborhood in Chicago. The mild sauce is on point. I've been here a few times and the food is consistently good. I actually went in person once. When I went, it looked just like I'd envisioned. Atmosphere it was quiet inside. Outside was some peddlers/ loitering but that's this the spot, so I understand. Service was good but it's was kind of slow. And I don't blame the guy, I blame whoever the manager is who only got one person on shift trying to fulfill multiple orders alone. Give that man some help. He was doing great. Making sure he followed all directions and getting our orders correct. I will continue to order from here.

Amazing food and amazing service! Spoke with the owner here at Sams he’s actually the ex owner of Sharks but decided to open up this amazing and tasty location. Sams has many different fresh fried chicken and fish combos, along side some great dessert and lemonade. The prices are ? everything comes with fries and drink. I totally recommend Sams. Thanks for a good meal and talk!

Had pickup, was done in the 20mins estimated. Food was made exact to order. When I say I love when they don’t complain when you want extra sauce on the fries. catfish fillets slapped. Chicken wings were fried hard but juicy. 10/10. ?
