I have to say that I never really gave steak n shake a chance. It just wasn't a place I ever stopped and I now regret that. Yes you order on a kiosk, but for today's socially awkward human this is great, and you are able to pay with a card OR CASH. The food is consistent and great for the price. The milk shakes....mmmmm....yuuuummmm,they're hand mixed with real heavy whipping cream on top. If you add them to a combo meal they're only $2.34 and they are pretty big. If you just want a shake a regular is $4.99. We had an issue with our rewards not making it onto our account and the manager Becka who helped us was very nice and got it all figured out. A lot of cool people can be seen here?
Getting better. Since covid this location has been pretty terrible. I am a big fan of Steak and Shake food, so occasionally I'll give it a shot. My last visit found friendly drive through service, and my burger and fries were fresh and met my expectations. I hope the good vibes continue.

A lot of whiney people in these reviews and a lot of people who somehow think a cheap meal is akin to the good old sit down days of yesterday.Steak 'n Shake isn't your Dad's restaurant you remember anymore. Y'all killed that a long time ago.This annoyance was marked very pointedly by the old geezer who walked in today, pronounced loudly (even though there was literally just 2 people in the dining area) "we don't like the ordering here" because she was too old/senile to understand ordering from a screen is the way things are done now. You know when you go to a restaurant where someone takes your order they are just pressing buttons on a screen right? Want to keep your meal cheap? Great now you can do it.Y'all must really be out of it because nothing makes me happier than the fact I don't have to talk to anyone to get my food and if my orders wrong it's because I didn't select the right options (no one is out to get you, you're just bad at reading, get over yourselves).The food is cheap, you get what you pay for a lovely greasy burger and fries. If you're looking for a full service restaurant you should go spend some money instead of complaining.Would rate 20 stars if I could. Place is a favorite of mine.

Walked inside and we were never greeted. Ordered on the kiosk. Got our food, I realized they forgot something on my husband's order so went back up to the counter to find BOTH employees just standing by the drive thru window and sitting in the dining room on their phones. Never acknowledged until I had to shout for one of them. Absolutely HORRENDOUS service. Also they were to busy on their phones to fill the ice on the coke machine which was totally empty. Lazy employees. Take your business elsewhere.

I Literally LOVE This
No one greeted us, they forgot things to our orders, and the food was weird. The burger was unseasoned but not too bad, they gave me a small side of cheese instead of cheese fries, and the Oreo milkshake and the KitKat milkshake my friend and I had had a woody aftertaste. I thought it was my cherry but no the whole ice cream tasted like that and my friend didn’t have a cherry. It was a waste of money.

I typically go through the drive thru, and simply ordering cheeseburgers with ketchup only, results in me still getting burgers with everything. If I didn't have kids who loved the food, I'd give up on that place. Frustrating to wait 10+ minutes for your food only to have it wrong and wait all over again.

My fiance and i came through the drive through and we ordered 4 sandwiches and 3 fries, 2 of which we ordered plain. We got home to find first that both plain burgers are loaded with toppings and then discover our 4th sandwich is missing entirely. Won't answer their phone, called like 8 times and finally had to drive all the way back, at which point we just wanted a refund. People working don't listen AND refused the refund, got food remade we didn't even want anymore

This is the second time I got food poisoning from this location. Don't know if it was the chili or the Frisco melt but this place needs to change. You obviously don't have any of the same business you used to and the inside is old and disgusting. Have some pride where you work and update this place and be better about the food you serve.
