Pretty cool spot! Wasn't very busy when we stopped in so the food came out very quickly. Everything was very fresh and delicious, service was attentive for the most part. Took her almost 20 minutes to get our check for some reason but that's not a big deal.

This was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Tucked in DeKalb, Illinois, I never expected to find such a treasure. The sauces were top notch, the food was amazing, and our waiter made us feel like the most important people in the place. I only wish we had a place like this in NC! 100% go there!

Had to wait 20-25 min. for seat. Hostess more interested in her phone than anything else in down time. Our waitress nice but not intuitive. My husband & I sharing a steak dinner, but she didn't think to give us an xtra soup spoon or steak knife. Had to ask for those & had to ask someone else b/c she wasn't around! Our steak had GREAT flavor but a lot of fat/grissel. Rolls & hummus delicious. The lemon chicken rice soup & lemon potatoes were good, just not my thing.

This is our third experience at The Flame and it's honestly one of those places you leave feeling like you didn't mind spending $100 for two people. The food and drinks were exceptional. Old Fashioneds were great. I had chicken souvlaki and it was wonderful. Hubby had the gyro plate and he thought it was great! Lemon potatoes were also divine. Server's Jen and Erin were attentive and very friendly and professional. We will definitely return! Thanks for a great meal.

Love the flame. My family orders from there often. We usually have to order over the phone and pick it up because the kids menu isn’t available on DoorDash. And of course we have kids. I hope they update their DoorDash menu at some point.

great dining experience at the flame! we ordered the mediterranean platter as an appetizer and followed it with the chicken souvlaki skewers with greek salad, beef gyro wrap, and lemon potatoes on the side. everything was so delicious! reasonably priced, service was great, and restaurant is clean. can’t wait to come back :)
