Love this place. It is quick, busy, nice atmosphere, and the food is excellent. We had a little problem with the service. Half of us got our food, the other half had to wait another 5 minutes. And getting ice creams at the end of the meal was a nightmare. They couldn't get the toppings correct. But otherwise it was really good.
Roundhouse restaurant is old, worn and tattered with an odd medieval theme. We were expecting an American sports bar vibe and this is far from it. Food was okay-ish but not great. One server for the entire restaurant AND she was the bartender too. Obviously service was very slow.
Our dinner was excellent. We arrived early for our reservation but the hostess accommodated us and we did not wait for a table. The server was prompt with menus and taking our drink order. We ordered an appetizer and it came out promptly. Our drinks were delicious and the service was prompt also. We had 4 entrees and all were delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant
My husband and I took two friends from out of town to Two Brothers Saturday for lunch. The chicken Caesar salad and the Cobb salad were both huge and loaded with chicken. They were hits as was the blackened chicken sandwich. This is a go-to when we have out of town guests, not only for the food, but the historical aspect.
We sat outside to enjoy the continued warm weather. I had a house salad which was a nice sized portion. My friend had the ribeye sandwich with fries. Fries were very crispy and the sandwich was tender and juicy. We stayed to here the band playing in the gazebo, Planet Groove. I like coming here for the music, too. They have some great bands year round.
We have been going to the Roundhouse for years. It is usually our spot before a Paramount show. The quality has been slowly degrading. Our most recent visit involved: average food, poor service (waitress was unfamiliar with drink options including a brand new Two Brothers beverage - Old Fashioned in a can which was on display in the lobby but I was told couldn't be ordered in the restaurant (That's weird and disappointing - if that is accurate then it is a little misleading) & we had to ask for the desert menu since the server forgot & we had to ask to have our places to be cleared because staff walked by several times but didn't engage). Food came out almost too fast since we were barely done with our appetizer. We ordered the cookies and milk cake which tasted like it was sitting in the refrigerator for hours absorbing the smells and tastes of other food - it was not fresh or tasteful. Prices did not match the quality. Overall a very disappointing experience which leaves us questioning whether to ever return.
The food was good, but service was very poor. Even though the restaurant was not very busy, are server would disappear for long periods of time without checking on us. Also when we were seated are table was dirty and we had to ask them to wipe it down for us. The bar is nice so I'd go back for drinks but probably won't be going back for dinner.
We regularly eat here when in the area for theater shows. We have enjoyed everything we've ever had on the menu. The warm pretzels is one of our favorite items! I had the bourbon salmon on our last visit and thoroughly enjoyed it. I like my salmon with a sweet sauce and this totally fit the bill. We like that we can get reservations and service is always quick and efficient.
Used to be great. Hadn't been in several years as I no longer live in the area. Asked the server if they had Grey Goose. She replied that they only had Captain Meyers. She didn't know vodka from a conflated fictional rum. Ordered the turkey chimi sandwich, wife had Cobb salad, friend had walleye veracruzano. Deli turkey on the sandwich, no chimichurri at all, jarred roasted bell pepper, and likely precooked food service bacon. Wife said the chicken on the salad was likely precooked bagged chicken. Friend's walleye was drowned in sauce to conceal the lack of fish. I recommended the place to a coworker 2 years ago. He said it was awful. They have gone downhill and are running on former glory. Still have great beer. Just don't eat there.
The were very overbooked and overwhelmed. We had to ask numerous times for someone to serve us. We were brought food and then told they were out of forks. Sad, because I had a good experience here before.

One of the worse dining out I've ever had. After 35 min our draft beers still had not shown up, flagged a manager down who gave an excuse of the bar being busy rather than be concerned it took 35 minutes for 3 draft beers to come out. Food arrived wrong, as in completely wrong item's, correct food came out quickly after but all wrong cook temperatures so were probably pulled from another order on the line. Food was dry, tasteless, and missing ingredients. Check came and it was all billed as the incorrect food that we first got, which was higher prices. Flagged the sever to come back to correct the bill and after 25 additional minutes she says “my manager wants to know if you want a free beer instead of correcting the price.” We were floored. Told her no, correct the bill for what we ordered and what we should be charged. Took an additional 20 minutes to show up with the corrected bill. We almost just threw some cash on the table and walked out. Absolute joke of a restaurant that needs serious attention to its service and quality.
Overall it was a very good experience. Our problem came with the bill. I am always suspicious when item get added to the bill that weren't ordered and in this case our bill was $41. Too high. They did take the items off our bill but we still don't appreciate having to correct their mistake. We hope it was a mistake. Many people don't scrutinize the bill after drinks and dancing.
We sat outside. They had 2 sounds of music playing at 5:00 pm from speakers they were piping in music. Too loud and not appropriate for dinner. The food was ok. The waitress was very nice. They need to update their restaurant. It looks old and dirty.
It's a very nice brew pub in a unique location, but not that dissimilar to most other brewpubs you might find. I'm not a big beer drinker, but I thought the variety of choices was a bit weak. Food was good and service well done. Good place for doing pre-event dinner before a concert at RiverEdge or show at Paramount or for a meet-up after the train.
The ribeye sandwich was tough and so are your prices. the cup is soup was a joke, could it have been any smaller? Should have been called essence of soup. Most of all, one DOES NOT TIP ON TAX. The entire industry is guilty of this. Fix your hand held devices.
