My husband has food poisoning. My macaroni and cheese was differently from a package. The soda machine out of pepsi. You had to walk through the bar to get a drink. The music very loud.

Good food, horrible service, and servers and bartenders They need new staff. Food is delicious though.

Finally went to hog wild express in Diamond and the food was amazing!!! My kids are picky but ate their entire burgers. I was leery of the higher prices at first until I saw how much you get for the price. You get way more than you pay for. My hossa sandwich is enough for 2 meals. Our family will be backUpdate Braidwood location. Not that great service. Burger was good. I ordered 2 burgers & cheese curd appetizer to go. When they brought order there was only 2 boxes. I asked about my curds & young girls at register said they were probably in with a burger. I don't understand why they would be put in with something that it wasn't ordered with. I asked why it was done that way & the girls said idk. They had 0 clue what was going on. If I said I'd like a burger with curds then I could see it being packaged that way. Once I got home I had to separate them for another person. It was given as a separate order so it should have been boxed that way.

My wife and I just "discovered" this restaurant a couple of weeks ago. The food is very good, the atmosphere is pleasant, but what has really prompted me to write this review is the excellent service. On two out of three visits, Kate was our server. My wife and I commented to each other, after each visit, how incredible Kate was at anticipating our needs, answering our questions about the different menu items, being present without being overbearing, and generally displaying genuine friendliness and enthusiasm for her job. Kate was the difference between a good meal and a great meal and we sincerely appreciated her service. FYI, we sat in the bar area, as the atmosphere seemed to be much happier and more alive than the dining area. The entire facility is very nice, however. Five-star rating because of the service (Kate). Four-star for food and atmosphere, we have only eaten there three times. The dining area (restaurant) seems to be very family friendly. The prices were very reasonable.

Kid-friendliness: The restaurant area was very kid-friendly. We observed several families with small children and each seemed very content. The prices were also reasonable, which adds to "kid-friendly."

Parking: There was plenty of parking available, close to an entrance.

I agree with the Food Critic - my 1st time there and no one said you had to order at the counter so we sat and waited for 10 minutes before the bartender, who was on her phone, finally told us we had to order at the counter. Food was out very fast, but we were the only customers there, so it makes sense. The food was just ok. Very fatty meat, nothing great. I agree, it could be so much more, bad management...sad...

Really good brisket! We're from STL so we've had good BBQ and this was on par.

This place could be so much better. First, there's no table servers. You have to order at counter. That wasn't obvious, so we sat for 10 minutes before anyone told us. The place has a very musty smell, and everything just appears worn. You have to serve your own drinks from one machine on the opposite side of the building. The food, though, was ok, some was quite tasty. At the same time the meat was pretty fatty. Kind of hit or miss. Probably won't come back.

Food was good. Our kids'grilled cheeses disappeared quickly. Pulled pork and red potatoes were great, and the hot bbq sauce was tasty (though not all that hot). Service was non existent, but that was on purpose with their style of ordering at the counter and you getting your own drinks - staff was still friendly. Food came out quickly except for a pork chop sandwich... That took quite some time; though, it was real thick and juicy. I also wouldn't have called it a sandwich because it had a giant bone through it

Genuinely some of the worst food I’ve eaten at a “restaurant.” The Mac n cheese was store bought, stouffers. So glad I paid 3.50 for a tiny bit of something I could’ve bought at the store. The southern fried chicken sandwich was rubbery, with barely any meat and mostly breading. The Alabama white sauce was watery…. Somehow. Don’t waste your money.

Don't even know if I can pick a favorite meal from here. I've tried numerous entrees, and they have all been amazing. This place consistently provides delicious food, and the service is on point. They definitely deserve more love!

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I felt the food was good and the staff was great. My only complaint was that tables weren’t clean. But that wouldn’t stop me from coming back.

Food was very good. Really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich. They were very generous. The sides however were expensive for their size.

I have been visiting them since they were in Diamond, and have used them for large family gatherings. Since the move to Braidwood, they have only gotten better. The BBQ is still great, and they now have a gem of a location. I wish them the best and hope you give them a try.Pulled pork, pork chops, and red potatoes are a must.
