My husband,son and daughter in law took me to Whistle Stop Cafe in Diamond,IL for my birthday last Sunday ,Oct 5th. The food was delicious! Homemade everything! This is a fun place we discovered on a trip down to Blackburn College. The food is great (we love diner food), at a good price, and the people are friendly. If you're driving on 55, get off at the Coal City/Kankakee exit for a little treat!
The hostess n all the servers r so friendly n on the ball. Great food all the time. Where can u go n have a great senior dinner n a iced tea 4 under 11.00. Plus free ice cream with it.
