You'll be screamin' for a sundae everyday cept for Sundays @ Yellin's Y'all! My fave fun short road trip place! Always so yum! Their Dix, IL location is smack center in the middle of Mt. Vernon, Salem, and Centralia! So all roads lead there to their 3 town Bermuda triangle central ice cream spot dot on the map! Route 37 had never been so much fun till Yellin's showed up on the main street! I can't wait for the day when they get an extra creamed ice making machine so they can make their good maple ice cream their daily staple!🍁🍦🍁🌳☀️☁️

So today I finally had time to stop by this great place! I had pulled pork nachos and cheese. They offer sour cream and jalapeño but I just wanted plain. I got a large half sweet tea also. Both were delicious and large! I could have easily shared them. They also have a Pavillion and music every Monday night 6:00-8:00, live local entertainment!!! I wish I would have had room for ice cream! Next time!!!!!
This was our first trip, and it was worth the wait! I had vanilla ice cream, with hot fudge and peanut butter, and it was heavenly! My husband had the maple and said it was the best ice cream he's ever eaten. We can't wait to go back and try their sandwiches too! The staff was super friendly. Highly recommend.
