They custoner service is very very slow. I came after work and order the goat at 5:04pm and didn't get my order until 5:45. No word from the staff on why I'm still waiting. Just Rude??

Called in to ask if lunch was ready and told yes. Arrived 15 minutes later, ordered and paid before I was told the food won't be ready for another 20 minutes. I requested a refund given that I couldn't wait that long. Neither the young man who took the order, or later his dad could provide me with a copy of the voided/refunded transaction. I tried explaining I live in Canada and was just passing through on my way to Milwaukee so I can't pop by if I had an issue getting my refund but this made no difference. Considering that two oxtail dinners, taxes and tip amounted to just over US$70/CA$100+, I pray I have no issue.
Didn't get the meals so can't comment on it outside of the price.

What suck is I never got to buy the food came there in my semi truck today. When I pulled in a police officer pulled in from the back of this store. When I parked He stop little further behind me and when I walk to the store it was close however a guy on the inside told me they open at 11. As I'm walking back to my truck the officer came infront my truck and called me and told me he's giving me a parking ticket. I told him I'm just trying to get food but the place is close. I was barley there for 1 minute and the officer gave me a ticket for $750. He was so cruel for that. Is this place a place where trucks can't park and buy food? Truckers just be aware of this?

The food is amazing! They give the best proportions. We decided to go because we saw an Instagram of the Black Foodies and their food looked very good. We have 4 jerk wings, 2 jerk chicken tacos, salmon dinner with mac and cheese, yams, and red beans and rice. My mom had jerk chicken (white) dinner. We will be back because everything tasted absolutely delicious!!

Everything was good HOWEVER the mac and cheese seems like it's box Mac and cheese, plain tasting. Not home-made tasting at all. Please work on it.
Very friendly service, only had dark meat but was fine. Got jerk dinner with cabbage and plantains and everything was good. Chicken moist and season , cabbage was good and plantains were good rice and beans with gravy was also good. Will be back for sure. Was very polite and did not have to wait long and was not skimpy

I ordered the jerk salmon. For the price I got enough to feed at least 3 people. The food was very fresh and delicious. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend. I will be back for more ?
