Harold's Chicken Shack

Chicken was dark like it was cooked in bad grease. As a matter of fact I’m sure it was.. Straight up nasty… You guys should be ashamed of yourselves.. This is Not a Real Harold’s…someone should report this to corporate!

Place needs cleaning. Prompt service but skin on chicken was rubbery.

Dolton location..do better ..now I wouldn't usually complain but the sauce is one of the main points of going to Harold's...they had barely put sauce on anything.. chicken, fries .I was scraping just to get a taste..and still was dry on the sauce

Ordered through Uber eats on a Wednesday at 12:00 pm. (2) 1/2 dark specials and (1) 1/2 white. First off, it was a plain white bag…no Harold’s original bag. The food arrived hot and the sauce was evenly spread, but the meat did not taste right. It was very very tough and not fried hard like I asked. I thought I was ordering from 127th and halsted. Never will eat here again.

Not sure if I’ll be returning the wings are very small they don’t put the mild sauce on the chicken but on the side while sucks because it’s not enough oh and you can definitely taste to much grease that really smells like fish lower the prices if the wings are going to be little not to mention the dry fries were hard

Employees were friendly. Food took 15 minutes but it was the first time I said “mmmmm” out loud in the car by myself! I had 4 wings fried hard XL lemon pepper and mild sauce and it was finger licking good! LOL best Harold’s I’ve had in a while

This location use to be one of my favorites and always delivered consistent food. I always give another try before never returning. This last visit my food was over cooked and seemed to be cooked in old grease. It lacks that authentic taste and this is the second time the preparer ignored directions of light sauce. I hope the owner will take a look at the reviews and improve their overall service.

Food was prepared to perfection. Inside was extremely warm, air stifling and no seats available while you wait. Wait time was almost 30 mins with only 2 other customers in restaurant. I didn't mind the wait, because my food was freshly prepared.
