JR'S Jamaican Jerk#1(DOLTON)

Verrrrry rude cashier!! She literally tried her hardest to over charge my boyfriend and I. Then when we told her like that isn’t the price on the menu on the wall she says come on now that’s the price it’s a new price, mind you we both was going to order the 1/2 j*** dinner mixed which was priced at 10.75 she then tried to charge 18.00 for each meal we decided not to do that and just order the family meal which was a whole chicken with 2 large sides priced at 25 dollars and we added a small side order of red beans & rice for 3.30 she literally rang it up and tried to charge 43 dollars. Now we are aware that’s the legal tax but in this case her customer service was a complete zero!! Try the Island j*** restaurant on Torrance instead they charge the actual price and very friendly with good food!

Chicken was really good. The portions are pretty huge. They also have a Pacman machine

I wrote a review 7yrs ago and got an notification someone like my review. So I went and read some of the new reviews and see that everyone is having a bad experience with this place. I can honestly say I haven't bn back here since 2015. I suggest yall drive right pass here and dont waste your money.

Food is always good....they just have scaled down on the serving for the same price, if nit a little more. Also, when you order wings....make sure you ask for decent size ones or you'll end up with little winglettes lol. I don't know what is about these restaurants that want to charge the same or more but give you these anorexic looking wings.

Didn't like the fact that my oxtail we're slightly cool in the center seems like they may have warmed them up at some point ?

I ordered from here before years ago and it was OK. I'm not the best cook and my j*** chicken tastes better than what I had today. It was slow so there was no reason for my food to be the way it did. The rice was hard and the taste of the rice and beans was not even on point. The chicken was done but I don't know what was going on with the flavor, it tasted old and the texture was off horribly. The thing is I've always meant to come back here but the other places I go is closer to my house but I hate the customer service and I hate the wait so when I was finally drove by this one I was excited and to see how the results were was disappointing.

This was my first and my last time eating here…I ordered a chicken and shrimp rice bowl…Very disappointed that I paid $18 for 6 pieces of dry unseasoned shrimp(it didn’t even have j*** sauce on it ??‍♀️and they dont put gravy on the rice so it was dry too I had to sprinkle water on it….Annnnd the prices on the wall and the electronic menu prices don’t match!! They will ring you up with a totally different price!!

over priced, plus they charge you more than the menu reads , they will stick you up without a gun.

So the Mac n cheese tasted just like noodles with no cheese. The chicken tasted like hot mop water. Hoping the sauce would at least make up for it... but even that was hot garbage. Don't waste your money.

This place is on door dash taking money and orders. Now they’re cancelling orders saying temporary closed. Beware. I’m still waiting on a refund

It's okay! The last time I had them the Mac was super salty and the meat was chewy that was a couple of weeks ago and it was not crowded

The flavor is amazing l. I highly recommend.

I never right reviews like never but the food is awesome I ate here multiple timesNever have been disappointed the customer service is great to if you ever in dolton go check them out you want regret it

Just HORRIBLE, chicken was old with absolutely no flavor.
