Though I'm not a Illinois resident anymore we have stopped in a few times when coming or leaving Illinois. The place is absolutely a great place to stop eat and have a few cocktails..it's a shame that a dishonest corrupt mayor is playing games because someone refuses to back her in her age that is killing this great village. When we lived in Illinois my plumbing business did alot of work through the town. Never had any issues obtaining permits through the building dept however I have business associates who run in to problems obtaining permits. I know my last few sentences has nothing to do with the fine establishment but I see there having issues with the mayor like others have. More sooner than later she will be visiting the cross bar hotel
