Best beer I’ve ever had!

We had our wedding in the Barrel room. We worked Ashley and Khriston and they were great! It was magical and everything we could have asked for

5 stars all around! We had our son’s first birthday party at Alter Brewing and it was perfect! All the staff were super friendly, attentive and accommodating. Especially, Lisa (events manager). She made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. She was so helpful throughout planning and during the party. This is our second event at Alter and I highly recommend hosting your event there too.

Quant little brewery with beer choices!

I have been going to Alter for nearly 5 years now. It’s walking distance from my home. I would honestly say it was my favorite local watering hole. Me and my family would come at least 2-3x a month. I just recently read that Alter is brewing a beer for JB Pritzker called “JBeer.” The same guy that during Covid made small businesses close its doors and go out of business while big chain stores like Walmart were allowed to stay open. Politics in general is such a hot and divisive topic. I don’t understand why a brewery I really loved would get involved in this. I just want to enjoy my beer without all the outside noise. Thanks for the memories Alter but unfortunately I am moving on.

We had a family dinner for 9. Our server was great as were all the additional servers. We had the wings and the nachos to start. Both were excellent. Everyone’s meal was pretty good - burgers and chicken sandwich were outstanding! The only exception was the grilled peach salad that two of us had. The peaches were not grilled and seemed to be canned. The cheese was suppose to be ricotta and seem to be feta. It could have been a wonderful summer salad but was disappointing. We would go back but not get the salad.

Great place to meet friends and bring your dog. Various beers to suit everyone’s tastes. Food trucks on various days.

We looked for a brewery near us and found this option! We were quite hungry after a tough days work. Unfortunately, we did not! But the beers were good and we just concentrated on it ?
Beer options were good and we got some good advice across the counter! Flight options were good and we had a good time. For sure a recommended place ??

I had a chance to go to Altar brewery! We really enjoyed our time! Good people, great atmosphere! Not much of a drinker, but enjoyed this atmosphere

Cool brewery. Good variety of brews. They have fun events in the evening like music bingo or trivia night. No kitchen, but you can bring in our order on whatever you want. They close at 10 so you can close it out and still get plenty of sleep. Lol

GREAT beers. Fun atmosphere. Can't wait to bring my wife and become regulars.

Great service. Nice atmosphere Have to be a fan of the beer. Food...ehhh. Id go back for a beer and eat somewhere else
