Pre-fried chicken heated up in the microwave. Too expensive for low quality food. McDs is way better!!!! Mushrooms look nothing like they picture them

You can not beat the weekly specials. Always made while you wait, and Manager Dave is thee best cook in town, and goes out of his way to do all those things you love about chicken. 5+ stars thank you Dave for FIRE FRIED CHICKEN ONLY CHICKEN FRANCHISE LEFT THAT IS ? TRUE ?AND DONT MISS THE MASHED POTATOES AND GRAVY ITS TO KILL FOR ALONG WITH THAT CHICKEN. ITS THE SAME AS 30 YRS AGO. ONLY CHICKEN I WILL EAT OTHERS DO NOT COMPARE. I’m not sure what Brown’s has done to their chicken, but my wife and I just had maybe the worst fried chicken we’ve ever eaten. We ordered the ten piece special and were expecting at least two breasts, two thighs, two wings and two legs, plus two of their choice. We received five legs, two thighs and three pieces which would best be described as “mystery meat.” If they were supposed to be breasts they must have come from a Pigeon. The pieces were heavily breaded and greasy and the only comment I can offer is,”we won’t go back!”It’s a shame that Popeyes area wide has an unacceptable offering and Brown’s is equally awful.Jewel, KFC, Uncle Bubs and Chick-fil-a pleasedon’t join the parade!
Love there specials. Wish more were around have a little bit of a drive but not too bad.

Boy, do I miss having these around! Since I no longer have a Brown's Chicken near me, I couldn't resist stopping into this one in Hinsdale for a quick bite. Chicken was fresh, hot, and crispy. Ordered a side of fried mushrooms and was reminded of how Brown's prepared them best. Their breading truly is superior.
