Boy, do I miss having these around! Since I no longer have a Brown's Chicken near me, I couldn't resist stopping into this one in Hinsdale for a quick bite. Chicken was fresh, hot, and crispy. Ordered a side of fried mushrooms and was reminded of how Brown's prepared them best. Their breading truly is superior.

Brown's Chicken was always a favorite. I haven't had it for years because our local location closed years ago. I happened to be in the vicinity of the Downers Grove location and just had to see if it still was as good as I remembered...it was! Had chicken, a biscuit, and the mushrooms.Super moist and crispy chicken, decent biscuit, but it seemed like it was heated in the microwave. Mushrooms are crunchy outside, blazing hot and tender inside.I will go out of my way to go back.

New to the area so figured I’d give it a try. Lots of options but I was just wanting to try out the chicken tenders. Thick meat which is good but it had zero flavor. If you don’t like overly seasoned tenders I would get this but otherwise didn’t enjoy it much. Ranch was weirdly bad too. The biscuit just tasted like pure flour and was too mushy it broke to touch. Fries ok nothing special. My bf enjoyed the cheesy mashed potatoes (really small portion) though and liked the chicken so it’s all really on preference.
I ordered gizzards. I literally couldn’t even show them. They were so hard. I don’t know what they were but they weren’t gizzards.
