I've eaten here several times and consistently it is delicious. I always make sure to order the empanadas. I've had the Cuban Sandwich, which was delicious and one of the best Cuban sandwiches I've ever had. The Chimichurri Sandwich was something new for me and I didn't expect it to be packed with so much wonderful flavor, its got a bit of a kick to it which I love! I always get the Cuban and Chorizo empanadas - those are my favorite. I am planning on eating my way through the menu as much as possible. I just learned that the place is shutting down in mid May 2022 which makes me super sad, it's hard to find delicious food that is packed with flavor and unlike anything else around.

Wow! I was not expecting this type of cuisine in Westmont. It was super tasty and well priced (everyone is nice here too). I would highly recommend the shredded beef sandwich and a side of tostones. Tasty!

I was really surprised at how delicious the food was here. Was searching for something new and I am so glad we stopped in here. My wife got the Cuban and I got a pork dish. The flavors just popped out and it was a wonderful experience. We have gone back several times and each experience has been wonderful.

This place is not authentic at all! PR rice was terrible no flavor at all and I ordered a lechon Jibarito and they gave me steak but not a regular steak jibarito they put taco steak on it what is that about?? I’ve never heard of such a thing! Please do not claim to be authentic and then give someone not only the wrong food but some cheap steak meat and call if a day it was terrible and overpriced. Please people of your looking for authentic PR food go to Humbolt park/ Logan square somewhere in Chicago cause this place is not it!

Absolutely LOVE Caribbean corner. I am so happy i found this family owned restaurant close to the train. The food is authentic, fresh and always made with care. I am mostly vegetarian and they have many veg options to choose from. The Veg jibarito, corn & bean salad, Veggie rice bowl and spinach empanadas are my go to's. Everything is so delicious and flavorful. oh, and the yuca fries are really good too!

The food was excellent! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, as well. I ordered the Jibarito sandwich combo, which was a large portion and had great-tasting garlic sauce. Compared to other Puerto Rican places in the city of Chicago and on the island where I lived, this is a great choice in the Suburbs! Comparatively excellent! ? I'll be back for sure!

Let’s be clear, for true Chicagoans- this is not our construct of a Jibarito. They use Swiss cheese… and I’ll leave it there. But for what it is, it’s delicious. The steak pieces are soft and flavorful. I appreciate that they offer vegetarian friendly Puerto Rican rice. That’s usually not an option at other places. I docked two stars for price x value.

This place is crazy good food, surprising for a small town but I would highly recommend it if you're looking for great Jamaican food.

Went here with my family and they enjoyed everything ordered! For sure try the Cuban sandwich and the yuca fries! My husband said the passion fruit juice was delicious as well and fresh!

It was easier to dine or take out from their previous location down the street. Pre-ordered online ( no option to prepay) and got there just after 3 pm on a weekday all whopping 11 parking spots were taken guessing half of by employees. Only option to park almost a block away and walk. Called while double parked to say I'd pre-ordered and couldn't pay over the web only to be interrupted by the man owner Yes that's correct were not set up to take online payments. I went on to say I was sitting double parked 10 min, was he able to take my payment over the phone. Payment was taken and I was "asked" if I wanted to add a tip, to which I responded "no thanks". I wasn't asking for a delivery just to pay and get eta on order completion so I could stay double parked and run and grab my order. I really dislike business making one feel awkward and TRYING to put someone in the spot light during transaction involving take out food which to me and surely others does not warrant a tip. I mean really I'm supposed to buy a $13 small steak sandwich and then tip for the cook to prepare or someone to bag it. Both of the gripes mentioned here attribute to my downzized patronage to some and this Local businesses.

It is my first time to try their jibarito sandwich and it is quite good. It is just basically a steak sandwich the difference is that the bread of it is fried plantain. At first look I seriously did not like it that much because I am used on eating the usual sandwiches with bread but when I tasted it, I realized it was not that bad and it was actually good. The plantain is crispy on the outside and a bit soft in the inside, the steak has a nice portion and it was flavorful and the veggies on it was fresh. I like the mango fruit drink but I wish it was a bit cooler. I was seated inside and it is clean and cozy. There are only few seats inside and they also have patio. The staff in here is warm and friendly to talked to. There are only a few options on their menu and the prices are fair and reasonable. I would probably return to have their jibarito again and there are only few spots like them and the food they have so I am also curious to try their other foods too.

We really love this place. Everytime we go the food is so tasty and fresh. It's a fun change of pace from subs/burgers etc. Really great family-owned business worth supporting!

My favorite restaurant. The food is always perfect. I've never had a better Cuban, jibarito, or yuca fries. Raquel, the head chef and owner, and her husband Dave are kind, wonderful people.

Food was amazing, everything was as better then expected. Only negative was the gentleman who took my order. It felt like I was bothering him . I had a few questions but he would just point at the menu. Now the young lady who gave my food was oleasent even said thank you.
