Food was so good!! Service was on the slow side, and it was not busy at the time we were there. Wait staff was friendly. We will be back for sure!
Wonderful service. Amazing enchiladas. Couldn't have asked for better. Our new go to.
Fabulous food and great entertainment on Thursdays!! Great service, great decor.... it's a Mexican restaurant that everyone will fall in love with!
We visited on my birthday ( Cinco De Mayo) to see the Mariachi band, which made the visit worthwhile. The place was chaotic and seemed like no one knew what they were doing, rushing around aimlessly and unorganized. The original server got our drink order wrong, salt on the margarita, which we did not want, as well as a salty, small pina colada. That was just the beginning. I ordered a vegetarian burrito, my husband ordered shrimp tacos. After over an hour of waiting for our food, the server that was waiting on the table next to us noticed we weren't getting our food. She gave us a mistake order of a guac and chips plate to hold us over. She came back and said our order had never been put into the system. When we finally got our dishes, I found that my burrito had nothing but shredded lettuce and some diced tomatoes inside. The server that originally took our order never returned to our table after bringing another incorrect drink order. Who rims a pina colada with salt? Thankfully, the server that took over our table made everything sort of right by comping our meal and offering dessert, which we refused. She was very nice.
A holiday in a restaurant should have extra management on staff to keep things running smoothly. They are in
desperate need of proper management at this place!
Service was prompt and friendly. The food is way overpriced. The Guac 🥑 was very good but the price is ridiculous. The drinks were just ok. Once was enough.
I love this place and it was the place for our Mother’s Day lunch with my son, sister and nephew. I called before hand and was told it was open on MD at 11am. I confirmed this with their website, so after church we all met up there and the doors were locked. There was one truck and one car in the back. We knocked on the door and no one answered! We ate somewhere else nearby only to go by Chula’s with a full parking lot! What a Mother’s Day bummer! Shame on you!
Absolutely delicious
Mushroom & spinach quesadillas and the enchiladas and burrito were excellent

We had been meaning to try this place, but unfortunately, we won’t be returning. It’s by far the most overpriced restaurant I’ve visited.
To start, every item on the menu is priced 30% over what I would expect, my kid’s soft drink was $5, and every taco had an additional $1 charge just for cheese. On top of that, there was a credit card fee. As we were leaving, we noticed a beer special that would have been nearly half the price had I ordered a different size. When our chips ran out, they didn’t offer to refill them, just took them away.
Overall, it feels like this place is more focused on squeezing as much money as possible out of customers rather than offering good value.
The food itself was decent, but it’s certainly not worth the steep prices.

I am SO glad we've come across Chula's not too long ago. We had walked by it time and time again and finally we walked in one day to test it. I wish we would have done so earlier!
I believe ownership changed a year ago - the food is FANTASTIC. My better half has a gluten/dairy/soy allergy and they have been able to accommodate her with so many different different foods!
The carnitas tacos are a staple for our Tuesday nights. The ceviche tostadas are outstanding! Even the rice and beans taste fresher to me here versus other places.
I have posted in a local forum about our experience and it seems that the previous ownership was not as well-received, and a few people didn't realize that a new family had taken over. I highly recommend anyone that loves good Mexican food to give it a shot!
Dietary restrictions: My girlfriend has a gluten/dairy/soy allergy and they can accommodate her, for this we are grateful!

The food was gross and expensive. I got Steak and Al pastor tacos and they both were horrible. very cheap meat and had to wait an additional 20 min at the restaurant for my pick up order to be ready. Al Chile Mexican Grill is wayyy better and close by!
