Traditional ice cream shop with many varieties of ice creams and cones. They have some non-dairy options, so everyone can be included. There are also some shakes and basic pastries available. Prices are reasonable. Only major downside for me is that almost all of the ice creams seem to be loaded with synthetic food coloring.
This place is a Downers Grove institution. It's well staffed and has an excellent assortment of flavors. The chocolate dipped waffle cones take your ice cream cone up to the next level, so good!
The guy who attended me (Charlie Michaels) was a charming young lad! He really showed great customer service. right when I walked in his face just lit up! Which made me super happy because I was having a terrible day(my dog passed away) and so his charismatic charm really helped me get through the day and also helped me decide a flavor when I couldn’t choose! So 5 stars
