Gia Mia is one of our absolute favorite spots – we keep coming back again and again! We regularly visit both the Downers Groove and Naperville locations, and the experience is always amazing.

The food is fresh, creative, and full of flavor. We’re obsessed with the Wild Mushroom Toast – rich, earthy, and perfectly balanced. And the Wild Mushroom Pasta? Creamy, comforting, and full of depth. It’s one of those dishes you dream about afterward.

Service is friendly, the vibe is relaxed yet stylish, and the quality is always consistent. If you haven’t tried Gia Mia yet – you’re missing out!

This is the best gia mia and one of my favorite Italian places in the western suburbs. I've had both the gnocchi and the paccheri vodka, both of which are incredibly flavorful and portioned well. The vodka sauce is especially good and has a nice heat to it. Wine selection is strong and cocktail menu is great. Overall great experience. Get literally anything here and you're good to go.

I had the Tuscan/Italian Shrimp with a mistletoe margarita. They both were delightful. The polenta was a nice add on to the shrimp. (Dish is served this way, I did opt out of the peppers). Some friends enjoyed the pizza and pasta dishes. They have a wood burning stove. I would eat here again.

Parking: I suggest coming early to find a street parking spot.

I had dinner with my adult daughter. Neither of us had been here before, but my daughter had herd it was good . I was visiting from Georgia and really missed a good itialian food. The lasagna was large and tasted okay. But I've had better.

Vegetarian options: The meatballs were pink inside. They said it was because of the veal but I'm not so sure. They were hot so I did eat them.

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Gia Mia in Downers Grove is a must-visit! From the moment you step in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a culinary adventure.

The food is nothing short of exquisite. The wood-fired pizzas are truly out of this world—each bite bursting with flavor and that perfect char that only a wood oven can provide. If you’re a fan of burrata, you’re in for a treat; it was creamy and delicious, perfectly paired with fresh accompaniments.

The calzone is another highlight, with its golden-brown crust and generous fillings that will leave you craving more. And don't miss the polenta with shrimp—it's a delightful combination of textures and flavors that will tantalize your taste buds.

To top it all off, the ice cream at Gia Mia is reminiscent of what you'd find in Italy, rich and creamy with authentic flavors that transport you straight to the streets of Rome.

Overall, Gia Mia is a gem that offers a fantastic dining experience with incredible food. I can’t recommend it enough!
