Pizza was great!!!! We were all pleasantly surprised considering we had high expectations from reading the reviews. What was also extremely nice was that the entire staff was very friendly, upbeat and happy. It’s a nice change to see a happy staff!! For sure would make the trip out here again.

Very warm/inviting team and atmosphere. Owner is often there and is very engaged. One of the most kid friendly eateries I know. Excellent quality pizza esp if you like Neapolitan style. The dough reminds me a lot of Manhattan pizza dough (perhaps the water they use as well?). If you want the best gluten free crust in the area this is it / it’s the only place I know in the suburbs that make their own GF dough (think of Sicilian style like crust). Hope they don’t change as they get busier

Went tonight for the first time. The pizza was excellent 👌🏻 I usually have to go to Lake Geneva, WI for good neapolitan pizza.. But, now I know I can go to Lantern instead. 😋😋🍕🍕

Lantern Pizza is a fantastic pizza shop with amazing staff! They have one of the best gluten free crusts the wife has ever tried (and she's tried probably 100+ given how much the rest of the family loves pizza). And, the staff is so friendly, attentive, and kind... Highly recommended for a quick takeout or a lively eat-in bistro experience.

As someone with celiac disease who has to eat a gluten free diet, this place is a little slice of paradise. The gluten free crust is soft on the inside and crunchy out, it has the same texture of focaccia bread. There is a separate oven and prep space for gf pizza so cross contact is no a worry.
There are many different toppings options we try and try something new every time, but the buffalo and spinach artichoke are standouts.
Even the non gf people in our group loved the gluten free crust! We will definitely be back and are making this a new place in our rotation.
