I have been coming here for 25 years, always consistent. Wouldn’t describe it as the best Mexican restaurant around but it’s definitely a go to spot that always hits just right and is fair priced for how good it is.

I wanted to make one more comment. I asked for an al pastor burrito and I got a carne asada. Like I said earlier in my evaluation I go to Mexico all the time. Two or three times a year. I come from Hispanic community. And I'm not stupid.

A local joint, this was the spot growing up. Great chips and salsa. The burritos hit the spot. This place hits every single time. Some of the best food around. It does not miss.

Disgusting. The food can be ok but, most of the time the Sales Verde is just lime juice. it's revolting, disgusting. Their salsa verde could make a whole taste good, but all I get is lime juice. I will.never go.bsck.20 year customer.

I seriously love this place — Los Burritos never disappoints. The steak tacos are my absolute favorite: flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. It’s a little on the expensive side, but the quality makes it worth it. This is actual Mexican food, not some watered-down “white people” version — it tastes authentic and legit every time. Most of the staff mainly speak Spanish, so there’s a slight language barrier, but they’re incredibly sweet and always make sure the order is right. It’s one of my favorite spots and I’ll keep going back as long as they’re around.

The place is old, and the building could be updated and / or renovated. The interior is outdated and flat, with dull colors and lighting is harsh. The staff can be a bit lazy and a bit irritated to even have to be there or help a customer. However, food wise and flavors, it's one of the best Mexican restaurants, in my opinion. I live like 40mins away from them, and I still make sure to get it every couple of weeks. Their other location in naperville However is the completely different in the staff and store are better. However, the naperville location doesn't use the same recipes as the one in downers Grove. So foodwise to the naperville location it's food is subpar and isn't worth the time or money and the time I went there was rats around the back and front which were not scared of ppl and would even smell around cars and outside garbage cans for I'm assuming food. Stick to the downers Grove location.

Had a really bad experience with uber eats delivery since the delivery driver forgot half of my order and the order that she did deliver was all over the place. However, restaurant went above and beyond to help me by calling me and letting me know what happened and remaking the food that driver had messed up.
