We were satisfied with our food and the general atmosphere of the restaurant. But...our server was rude and impolite. She did not want to answer even simple questions. When we asked a question about the difference of two of the soups, she snapped at us that one was hot and one was not?? Hot as in spicey, or just served warm. And...the other soup, not spicey, or not served warm?? Seemed like it was a fair question to ask. Her attitude ruined our meal.

PSA: good authentic Chinese food for the non-Panda Express crowd (though I’m sure their Orange Chicken and fried rice would be amazing too)

Once bustling with Olive Garden patrons, this place is a literal dark ghost town now. No idea how they got 4.4 stars overall but skip this place. No flavor, frozen and reheated ingredients and way way overpriced.

Such a good spot I’m glad we came here. Food is awesome. Noodles are handmade. Tso’s chicken was fantastic. Soup dumplings were good. Egg drop soup was so good. Plus you get free tea. Definitely recommend

We ordered takeout from the parking lot. Ordering was easy by phone, food was prepared quickly, portions were good and price was very good for the high quality of the food.

The twice cooked pork was not what I'm used to, and knowing this could happen I bought a back up dish. The twice cooked pork did not have the fat trimmed and it was not as tender as I'm used to. It was very flavorful and perfectly spicy. It was also greasy. The mushrooms in it were incredibly delicious. It says Chinese cabbage is in it but I didn't see it or taste any. 😕 instead it was scallions, red and green peppers. I got orange beef as a back up and this is one of the best renditions of the dish I've had. Perfect. The beef was so tender. The sauce was spicy and orangey. I will be back. The atmosphere is very nice and well appointed and the servers are well versed in the dishes they serve. I got carry out and it was done in about 10 minutes.

Hard to find good black bean noodle (jajangmyeon) in the suburbs so I'm glad we found this gem for korean chinese cuisine
Where do I even begin. I decided to have my birthday party at the mandarin house yesterday and I was simply left speechless.
Starting with the service, my associates and I were greeted by a tall handsome kind chinese man who guided us through the menu and gave several amazing recommendations. He single-handedly brought a much needed warm happy atmosphere to the table smiling from ear to ear the entire time. He was also very patient with us constantly checking in our table and providing us with the best service imaginable.
As for the food, it felt like I was sent back to the motherland with the all so familiar traditional family style chinese food that I couldn’t get enough of! Everything from the seafood to the noodle dishes tasted fresh with all the different sauces and spices that you could ever need! Something I can’t emphasize enough is the portion sizes and the price. This restaurant quality to quantity to price ratio is simply unmatched. My associates and I were eating like kings despite only paying a fraction of the amount that we were anticipating!
If you haven’t been to THE Mandarin house yet I urge you to book a reservation immediately as it will be a life altering experience that you will never forget!
