Hands down, one of the BEST lunch specials in / around western suburbs. You get choice of soup , (small) egg roll and entree. Portions were huge! My friend and I got the combo fried rice (nice jumbo pieces of shrimp) and the orange chicken. It was $15 per person including tip and tax
The food tasted very fresh. Willl be back for sure.
My family and I tried this place for the first time because we were craving Jja jang myun (Peking noodles). The noodles were surprisingly pretty good 4/5, we also go the lollipop chicken 5/5 and the sweet and sour beef (tang soo yuk) 5/5. We all agreed that this would be a regular spot that’d we’d visit, and the space is huge so there’s plenty of seating, and most likely won’t be a long wait.
You will see hybrid Chinese and Korean signage as Mandarin House serves a twist on Chinese food in a style typically served in Korea. Really intriguing! Menu ranges from standard American Chinese fare to traditional Chinese to Korean flavored dishes.
