A little hole in the wall type place, no real dining room, just some counters to sit at if you want to eat there, so pretty much a take-out place. But really good Italian beef and gyros, run by a guy who's been there for decades, I have a lot of respect for that. Highly recommend.

Maxwell's Beef is the only place in the area that I enjoy for a great cheeseburger, gyros or Chgo-style hot dog. I rarely eat fried food. But, today I had fries freshly prepared when I picked up my burger. They were so good. But, I could not eat all that food!
This is mainly a take out place. But, the cheeseburgers are made to order on toasted buns. They are really good, imo. And, this place is fast. I can't order until I am on my way over.
I love their tsatziki sauce with grated cucumber. I always get three of them for my gyros sandwich.

I wanted to try the Italian beef sandwich and it did not disappoint! Great sandwich. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by their chili. Much better than I had anticipated. Very hearty and tasty. I will definitely be back again.
Worst Maxwell Street style polish sausage. Owner/GM nit friendliest, more interested in playing games on phone. Younger staff was helpful in an attempt to answer questions.

been going here for a decade, its known by my family members this is one of my favorite places to eat at locally. they have amazing burgers here, and nothings better than when their fries are on point, and its all really affordable when you compare it to other franchised burger spots. not the best place to dine in though, bad seats, and small tables, however it has always been one of my guiltiest pleasures buying what i need and taking it home to devour. great spot, seriously.
