Best experience dining out in years!!!I've almost given up on dining out in recent years as the service is always terrible, food is always mediocre at best and everything is expensive. Mission BBQ restored my faith in restaurants.Went in the young gentlemen at the counter went way above and beyond walking us through the menu, explaining how things are cooked, how he likes things making recommendations. While waiting to get my food another gentlemen told me all about how they cook, their sauces and more. The gentlemen cleaning tables was super friendly and helpful as well. It was like Chick Filet service on steroids. And the food, fantastic, the ribs were good but the brisket was probably my favorite. Sides were excellent as were the drinks. Highly recommend Mission BBQ and I'll definitely be back, want to try the brisket dry instead of moist and also want to try a burger. All restaurants could take a lesson in service from this place.

Apr 14th, 2024I ordered their Beef brisket ($13,99 for 1/2 a pound) on Saturday (April 13th) it was really good. I liked it is so much that came the next day (Sunday, 14th) and ordered a pound of lean beef brisket, will order their moisture one next time which is fattier. The team members are professional and friendly. Exceptional customer service skills. Kudos to the whole team, especially to Robert, the manager. Great place to grab a quick bite at lunch or have dinner on a weekend.

I typically visit this location 4 to 5 times a year and spend on average $80. I love the idea of honoring of our service men and women. Unfortunately, the brisket is on a down turn. I usually order the brisket moist and I'm able to see it is moist. However, today the meat cut was dry and mixed with lean pieces. The supervisor on duty said next time I need to ask for extra moist?!?! I was disappointed to hear this response considering the attendee only offered a selection of lean and moist when I placed my order not extra moist. Sure enough, I get home and the meat is a mixture and dry. Though the servers are nice, those cutting the meats are not familiar with cutting styles. I'm done ordering brisket from this location. I'll go downtown to Green Street, where when I ask for moist cut brisket I get what I paid for.

My family traveled here for my husbands work, and we stopped by here for some bbq. We walked in and they were singing the National Anthem and everything was decorated in veteran decor. It was amazing, the staff were absolutely great and the food was so so good!! Definitely a must see :)Kid-friendliness: We got a free brownie for our daughter and it was HUGE. ? The workers all talked to our kiddos and were so kind

This is the most disgusting bbq I've ever had.Pulled chicken is incredibly dry, but also tastes so bad I couldn't spit it out quick enough. The rotten taste lingers! It's so unseasoned and filthy tasting, there isn't enough sauce to drown it out.Brisket is dry and only mildly better in flavor. The corn bread.. how do you screw up corn bread?! It's awful. Extra dry, tastes odd. What wood are you guys using? How are you sourcing and seasoning your meat? Because wow, nasty.

Stopped by here for the first time. If you are a veteran, you might like all the memorabilia and honor this place displays. However overall the experience wasn’t anything special. Food tasted average. There are better spots in the area. We did enjoy the variety of sauces and think the Chicago Sweet was the best, followed by Smoky Mountain. For food we had a burger, cornbread, cheesy potatoes and the brisket. Avoid the brisket as it was quite dry, definitely can make a better brisket at home. The burger was the better meal choice here.
