Destiny is absolutely amazing. I had ordered a while ago two brownie a la modes through doordash, and neither one had a brownie. With that in mind, when I placed my order today I called the store. Upon receiving my order, I was given the two brownies thst were missing from my past order, as well as the brownie for this order. She was friendly over the phone, and I am one very satisfied customer. Give her a raise, please, because she is out here working hard 🙏

Okay, maybe a little high on the price, but it is Chicago area. Price vs. quality is acceptable for me. Friendly service. Very patient as we worked through possibilities. We had this place mapped out for our vacation and it did not disappoint. Would definitely return. Exceptionally clean, and that is important for an ice cream place.

Large hot fudge sundae and a single scoop regular cone, $16. Very high quality. Reasonable wait time. Treat yourself.

I gave a 3 star because I’ve been coming here for years and have never had an issue. Last night I ordered a double scoop (1 scoop of cookie dough and 1 scoop of cookies and cream), and I’m now up on a work day with food poisoning. When the cone was handed to me, it did seem like it was already melted which leads me to believe the ice cream was left out of the freezer for a while. I know you guys were busy too. It sucks because I’ve been coming here for years but now I’m cautious and don’t think I’ll be returning. The staff was friendly and I know they were under pressure so feel bad even writing this but I also feel really sick and have to be up for work soon. Please make sure the ice cream is properly stored.

Very rude - and Oberweis should be ashamed of this location. Will charge extra for handpacked when this is not corporate policy and all other locations offer the same for no extra charge. Just lazy people who don’t want to work even when free with no other customers

I’m really sad I called the store to ask a question about catering ice cream for a company event 2 times and no one answered.I didn’t leave a message because it’s a last minute event and I wanted to know if they could fulfill it. I drove over and purchased ice cream and ask why they didn’t answer the phone. The kind server didn’t know and had her supervisor walk over and answer my question. I asked the supervisor politely why no one answered and she said the phones were broken and immediately closed the window. I started to talk, she opened the window and I politely said I’m not trying to be rude and she closed the window immediately. I’m so disappointed I worked as an accountant for this company and we never treated customers like that. It’s very sad.

Lovely Oberweis location. Workers are local high schoolers who are very well mannered. They forgot to add sprinkles to my shake but were quick to fix the problem and offer more than they should have. Definitely make a stop here for your dairy needs.

Do not go to this location the manager put me on hold for so many minutes never came back tried calling her back. She put me in the voicemail twice. I tried to place an order. She put me on hold because she didn’t wanna make my order. I’m going to report her to corporate. Please leave a comment if anybody else has experienced this from this location
