Super fun Illini Bar! Get there early for an Illini watch party as there is limited seating. Drinks are great (they have a hard seltzer option), and they let you order food from other places for delivery!

Wide selection of beers to buy and a nice selection to have inside or on the patio. Very friendly staff. They have NA beer, and slushies suitable for the kids, something for everyone. The lemon icee is amazing. They have really good stuffed pretzels as well.

Parking: Being right by the commuter rail station and by the library makes it a little challenging to find parking sometimes. Street parking is free and, after a certain hours during the week the commuter parking lot parking is free, and free on weekends. Not bad in the evenings, usually. Downers Grove also has a parking garage a short walk away with free 4-Hour parking during the week.

Kid-friendliness: They have a selection of fun drinks for the kids including icees.

Used to enjoy going to Orange & Brew when Vick is the bartender. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with another bartender, don't know the name, but haven't gone back since.It was on Friday afternoon about a month ago. Vic was one of the bartenders. I simply asked for a taster of a beer that I wasn't aware was over 10% and the bartender went off on me. All he had to say was that he couldn't provide a taster of that beer due to alcohol percentage, and I would have been fine with it. Instead, we ended up leaving along with another customer who saw what happened. I imagine the bartender in question was having a bad day.That said, I do like to go to Orange & Brew because you always have something different there that I wouldn't otherwise have a chance to try. You definitely do have a good selection of craft brews.

Always easy-going bartenders with lots of local craft beers on tap, plus a good selection of bottle and cans. Ciders and NA beers as well. Bartenders will give you a taster before you buy a 5 or 12 oz pour. Customers friendly too, sit right at the bar or outside at tables under umbrellas and strike up a conversation. Board games are available inside. Seen beer drinking parents bring their little kids sometimes. You can bring your well-mannered dog inside too.

Love the selection of ciders and beers here. Friendly bartenders and happy friendly customers- definitely recommend for all. Games available and nice patio.
