This Peet’s is usually a gem: great location, good seating, and good service. However, my experience today was so disappointing! No line and no wait—I ordered the new espresso drink: “the Derby”. The barista quickly made my drink and I left before tasting it since I was in a rush. I couldn’t have been more disappointed with my drink once I did taste it after driving home: orange sweet chai tea! Not good. The reason that I am posting this review is that Peet’s customer service could not do anything to help me—just said they appreciate my feedback and will pass on the info to management. For a $6 drink on a slow day, I really expected better, Peet’s!

There was foil i assume from their strawberry puree or tea. I would know because I work at Starbucks with similar products, the barista saw it got into the drink and still served it to me like really

Just had coffee. This is across the street from the Downers Grove Metra Station. Nice place to stop if you are a reverse commuter and need to finish a few things on your laptop before heading out. There is wifi.

Waited 20 minutes for second drink. Was ignored by end of line baristas so had to wait in line again and it took 60 seconds to make by the person taking orders. Won't come here again.
ham sandwich was OK. Kouin Amman is a fail. It's like it was half achieved only. Nice corner area to hang out so that's cool. Just wasn't too impressed with the food. Coffee was good.

I love Peets always have! This particular location has a barista named Lam that isn’t the nicest. He ignored every conversation I tried to have with him and has no customer service skills. ? this is my neighborhood Peets and I have to deal with that.
