I usually love coming here for coffee and to study, itâs been a go-to spot for me. Unfortunately, my experience has me considering never coming back to this location again. I had an interaction with a staff member (didnât catch his name, but heâs bald with tattoos) who seemed to be having a very difficult day and made sure everyone else knew it too. All I ordered was a regular latte, nothing complicated, but he was rolling his eyes at me like I asked for something outrageous, it was a very theatrical performance for a coffee shop worker taking an order (which I assume is just a standard part of his job.) From the way he was speaking to me as well as the man who ordered before me youâd think we did something terrible to offend him, however the terrible thing we did to him was come in while he was working I guess!
When it was time for me to pay, I didnât hear what he saidâI thought he was just giving me the total so I started pulling out my money. Instead of repeating himself or clarifying, he just stared at me and then loudly said, âGuess not! Your total is $7,â in the most unnecessary tone. It was honestly so embarrassing and people were staring. I said I didnât hear him, and he just rolled his eyes again and slowly repeated âyour. total. is. seven. dollars,â like I was a child. It honestly ruined the whole thing for me so much that I just left after grabbing my drink and didnât even stay to do my work like Iâd planned. Being an adult (especially a grown man) usually comes with some baseline social skills. If working in customer service is too emotionally draining, perhaps itâs time to explore other options that bring you more joyâor at least donât involve interacting with the public! We all have bad days, but as adults itâs expected that we are mature enough to leave that at home, especially when you are at work. Seems like this is unfortunately his every day personality as there are multiple bad reviews about him. 40-something year old man with the personality of a pms-ing teenage girlâ how unfortunate.

Had the Iced Golden Latte and Iced Expresso Chai Latte. Both drinks tasted great. Very unique flavors.

Great place to grab a coffee. Have picked up espresso beans a few times here as well and the man was very nice and helpful about it. Quick service, good vibes, great coffee.

The baristas do great job. ! And actually fixing coffee drinks for customers not like the competition ....price $$$wise is very similar to the competition. But it is worth to stop by if you like real coffee

I only went there because I had a gift card. It's kind of far from where I live. But I got some things I needed, they were nice. A bit too expensive for me to go back though but I'm sure the coffee is great!

This Peetâs is usually a gem: great location, good seating, and good service. However, my experience today was so disappointing! No line and no waitâI ordered the new espresso drink: âthe Derbyâ. The barista quickly made my drink and I left before tasting it since I was in a rush. I couldnât have been more disappointed with my drink once I did taste it after driving home: orange sweet chai tea! Not good. The reason that I am posting this review is that Peetâs customer service could not do anything to help meâjust said they appreciate my feedback and will pass on the info to management. For a $6 drink on a slow day, I really expected better, Peetâs!
