Went for a quick lunch break on a moving day. Absolutely sustained us for the rest of the heavy lifting. I tried the smoked turkey plate and loved all of the sauce options. My BF got the brisket & mac and liked it. We both also enjoyed the lemonade (tasted like my childhood!), coleslaw, and green beans & carrots. If I weren't moving away, I'd be back (especially for that lemonade...)

The best brisket you can get for the price, amazing lemonade that tastes homemade, and absolutely killer sauces. Try the Carolina sauce, it's like honey mustard's way cooler older brother, and it goes with everything. The cake was good. Good balance of frosting and cake. Prices haven't gone up that much from when I went to the Naperville location, which was probably 3 or 4 years ago now. Dining room is a bit cramped at this location, best to take out. There are a couple of tables, though.

We ordered for take out for the first time last night and wow - everything was so delicious! We had left overs tonight for dinner and it was just as delicious. So happy we finally tried Sharko’s. Definitely will be returning!

It's OK. Atmosphere had a chatoic and disorganized feeling walking in. The prices seem inconsistent. Ordered online for asap, it was ready in 5 minutes. I guess just order in the store. The sauce regalia is off too, several different branded (odd name) sauces at .25 a cup. Hot, medium, mild and a spicy vinegar work just fine, allow people as much as they prefer.I walked out feeling nickeled and dimed and the quality did not live up to the cost. Beans weren't cooked, coleslaw was lacking, mac and cheese was OK, but i dont understand cost of coleslaw being equal to cost mac and cheese. Meat seemed day old, trayed and reheated.I'd prefer a more concise menu with fresh daily smoked meats and limited quality fresh sides. If you're not selling out bbq daily, something is awry.

I always get the pulled pork Mac and cheese. It is delicious. So are their sides. If food could give me an orgasm, sharkos bbq would have my legs shaking.

I think we came to the new location in Downers Grove during the soft opening, and it's different from the one in Lisle. This location is smaller, but we came in the winter, so the patio wasn't part of the deal. Nevertheless, you're not coming here for the ambiance, you're coming here for the smoked meats. The brisket is one of my favorites. Chopped, sliced or burnt ends, it is seasoned well enough to be eaten by itself without being supplemented with BBQ sauce, seasonings, or other condiments. The Lisle and Aurora (rt 59) location used to do meat by the ounce, the Downers Grove did not appear to offer that. Brisket is what lures us all, but feel free to expand to the pulled pork, or the pulled chicken. On occasion when I want to mix it up, sliced turkey is my next preference!Pair that with the fries "dusted" and a cornbread muffin and you're good to go. I was full with brisket, fries and a muffin. The dusting on those fries is awesome. Think BBQ dry rub seasonings sprinkled lightly over shoestring fries. Yea, it's phenomenal.Even the little things taste good. Shark bite BBQ sauce, the honey butter on the cornbread muffin. The homemade lemonade is even good. The only thing the Downers Grove location is missing is the complementary mini ice cream cones with vanilla soft serve. Sharko's is forever known by my kids as "the place with good meat and free ice cream!!!"Good luck with the new location!

Brisket was flavorful and definitely wasn't dry. I'd skip the rib tips next time. Sweet potatoes were good and surprisingly not over sweet with the marshmallow too. The kids liked the Mac and cheese but it wasn't anything special.Service was ok, there's a few tables inside where you could eat but this definitely is more of a takeout place.4 stars cause the brisket was good.

Food was great and staff were friendly however, both me and my boyfriend got really sick after eating here. We got a sandwich and brisket with potato salad and Mac n cheese. It was my first time eating here and I most likely won't be returning due to probable food poisoning.

Reroute... We ordered an assortment of things/ all a total bust. None of the food was warm, like nothing. They do chili on Sundays Halloween - Super Bowl on Sunday... decent, yet super salty. The spinach casserole, had to try it as it's they're "speciality" ummm absolutely awful. Was also pretty cold and seemed like it separated. Ribs, super tough- definitely not a fall off the bone kinda ribs. Brisket was super dry. Boys said the homemade lemonade was awful. My hubby went to pick up the food and said service was terrible too. Like he was bothering them walking in to order food. less than 2 hours before closing. We've seen it for years and haven't checked it out. Checked it and skipping it. Also gave like only 6 sauces. Rotisserie chicken was decent. Again, cold... so maybe better if we reheated everything. Shouldn't have to do that when you live less than 3 minutes away.

Ok great brisket sandwich with fries. The quality was great , service great and they did not skimp on the meat or fries.I highly recommend this place

We ordered Sharko's last week - did a pick-up. You can eat inside - but not much seating. There is more seating outside. For food - we ordered a 1/2 slab of Ribs, order of burnt ends, and a side of fries - all with Shark Bite sauce. The Shark Bite sauce is the spiciest and I did like the sauce and fries. The ribs and burnt ends were fine - but nothing outstanding to us. The ribs were a little fatty - but not too much - more pull / tear off the bone (which I like).

I am a rib tip’s lover, the 1st time visit, the girl and every one is friendly, but rib tip is so dry, may be I will give a try for other item, but rib tip is no way!
