Tortorice's Pizzeria

This is probably the 3rd time we have ordered, unfortunately our experience wasn't as Good. I always give a place 3 times a chance before I make a decision on how I feel about the place and experience. They are quite expensive for what they offer. I understand the times we're in but it's still more than comparable places. This time however I'm disappointed with the food and how some things were handled. First they called to ask if it was ok to send my food the incorrect way because they accidentally made it wrong. If it's not what I ordered, why would I want it? While my wife's salad was fine my Italian sausage was not. The entire top was toasted so hard I couldn't chew through it and the bottom was completely broken and I couldn't eat it properly. There is no option on the menu to have the bread toasted or not, they should include that. Our cheese bread was so stuck to the foil we couldn't eat it and get it off. While the last two times were not that bad we did have issues before with delivery and wrong orders. Overall it's not terrible but they really need to be clearer on the options on their food. Not sure if I'll order again but for the price point and unclear menu item options, probably not in the foreseeable future.

First time here! 14’inch pepperoni and sausage, guy gave me 10% off, came out to 25$.. pizza box felt a little heavy so that was a good sign. Everything was hot and fresh and tasted good. The amount and quality of the cheese was great. Will be back !

I’ve never been inside but I’ve ordered delivery many times and it’s always great. I recommend the Mac and cheese bites, fried cauliflower and mushroom for appetizers.

Best pizza in the downers grove area. Pizza is always cooked to perfection & the staff is really cool & polite. Can’t go wrong with this spot.

I called and ordered a 10 inch deep dish cheese pizza that is $14.99 on the menu. I was then told that the menu is several yrs old and the new price is actually $20.99 manager said they don’t want customers like me?!
If you don’t offer 10 inch take it off your menu! If your prices have increased update your menu or honor what’s on your actual menu. Don’t berate customers because you have false advertising. See picture below of your menu.

It has been a few years since I ordered from here and let me tell you why. The price on their own menus is not right. When I brought this up to them they said menu prices change. Here is the kicker though, I still paid for the order and stapled to my bill was another menu with the wrong prices. I called them again and they said well I still have all these menus that are wrong price. Moral of the story is if they are too cheap to fix their menus, then I do not trust you with my food. I used to order several times a month. Haven't ordered since. Once they show you who they are believe them.

Pizza is thick and doughy. It's ok. But at $7 a slice never again. Meatballs are super hard. Some really low grade quality. Service was friendly but the food was garbage. I'll never come back

This was one of the most bland, tasteless and disgusting pizzas I've had in the area. Little Ceasars is better. Save your money. I wish I did ?

Was referred here by brother. Glad he did. Great tasting pizza! Can tell they use top of the line ingredients. Live in Aurora but well worth the drive. Will definitely be back.

I am fairly new to the area and when I saw there is a Torterices around the corner I was so happy and at the beginning they were doing great. Not sure what has changed but last time it wasn't as good as it has been. Just note to the ownership don't change something that works
