Our law firm celebrated our office christmas lunch at the Kickapoo Tea Room in Downs, IL. It was absolutely beautiful inside, and the food was delicious! We were all so happy and thinking about who we are going to bring from our personal lives to this amazing place!
This place is SO cute. Every single thing we tried was good. It was overall very reasonably priced. Would be a great place to bring out of town guests because of the immaculate vibes and the uniqueness. The service was a little slower than I would have liked but I wasn't in a rush and they were very nice. Their website says reservations are recommended though we came on a Saturday at 1 pm and were seated immediately.
This was a cool spot my mother told me about during a recent trip. We went there with a family friend. It was in an old church that was converted to a tea room. Had many options for those that are on special diets and also clearly shows GF options. The dessert was unexpectedly delicious. I had the pavolva with chocolate cream and raspberry sauce.
