Old feel atmosphere. I want to say pasta dishes, could possibly be made outside of facility. I found plastic packaging in a pasta dish I had ordered.
Some of the waitresses seem dizzy, which makes service very slow.
Plann on spending at least 1.5hr when dining here.
The outside seating area is very nice

The team, ambiance, and entire experience were delightful. The cuisine was outstanding and truly enhanced our special night. We appreciate a wonderful evening.
The food is freezer meals
First off let me say, I loved the wait staff, cleanliness, and atmosphere. I have zero issues with any of that. Everyone was friendly and punctual. However, when I spend my hard earned money to dine out and order a 20.00 meal, I at least expect my side of broccoli to be more than stems. Unfortunately, Alongis will not be at the top of my list next time I dine out, which isn’t often, so maybe my expectations were off, but.. it seems to me like you would want returning customers by giving them the best food experience possible for the situation. I remember Alongis from years ago having better business strategies than this. I would personally be embarrassed to serve someone broccoli stems when they ask for a side of broccoli.
We love the food and the atmosphere!

The Italian beef was delicious! Service was fast, and the waitress returned to the table to refill our glasses and check on us several times.

The eggplant parmesan was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend it. All around this place is very nice, and it would be a wonderful place to take someone for a date.

Traveling through and when I saw that they have been serving pizza since 1933, I had to stop. Started with Toasted Ravioli ... perfectly crisp and tasty! I ordered a classic sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, green pepper, and onion. The crust was a little thicker than the cracker crust I like best, but it had abundant toppings and great flavor.

A real treasure in Southern Illinois. We had a group of 17 and one waitress knocked it out of the park by herself!!!! The food was terrific!!! Loved it and will be back often.

What a joke.....their menu on their website is woefully out of date. They have Italian Beef sandwiches for $5.50 and Chicken parm at $11.99....when we get there Friday night the beef sandwiches were $12 & chicken parm was $19....FALSE ADVERTISING.....HELLO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU....What a rip off...the chicken parm was mediocre and the beef sandwich was laughable....where's the beef?
Old man Guy (who I met) is spinning in his grave at what has become of Alongi's
