First thing you do when your minding your business and go into a bar to order a beer is expect a bar tender to ask What'll you have? The big one walks up to you staring you down before doing her job. I always think I'm at the beginning of some detective interrogation interview scene. She acts all chummy with her patrons like she has an inflated pride to serve them first because they were there before you. I've always known waiting your turn is everyday manners, but she likes to emphasize and blow it up with extra time and jokes and inside prior jokes with what seems like everybody else " who isn't scum" after taking a long hard look at you before doing do. Oh yeah, wait for her to get done with her shots she's doing with these other patrons. The place is small and she doesn't try to give you any space whether with her rudeness or nonchalant que sera sera with walk-ins from the town.

We went in for Friday night fish fry. And ordered some appetizers a burgers. Got one appetizer. Never received our fish! Horrible horrible service. Was not even busy, like AT ALL. finally got a couple of our burgers. But....that was after we had been there for over an hour. Asked for the check and told waitress to take off the items we didn't receive. WILL NEVER GO BACK. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

Highly disappointed.. brought my family in. My 2 kids/husband and mother/stepfather.. we waited over 45 minutes, (one appetizer came out but not the other) bar wasn’t busy. Restaurant wasn’t busy. Server had zero communication with us on why we were waiting so long on a hotdog and burgers. Basically ignored us all around. When we walked in (1st time customers) nobody greeted us or helped us with seating. Ended up getting 2 of the 6 meals and told they didn’t know when the rest would be up.. after already waiting for 45 mins. Ended up leaving. Won’t be back.

Some of the best smoked ribs we've had with a delicious whiskey sauce concocted by the owner. There's an enclosed patio in back for an al fresco experience weather permitting. A hidden gem for such a small town.
