I ordered their bourbon BBQ burger. (Blitzed Burger) I thought the fact you had to be 21 or older to order it was a gimmick, but, they don't cook all of the bourbon from the home made sauce! It was a sloppy, drippy sticky mess and I loved EVERY BITE! The sauce and the rest of the food was really great and so was the staff. We stopped in since we were riding through and we will definately stop again.
Small town bar, I went there for the Friday fish fry and got the walleye dinner. The wallet was a little dry but the flavoring was good. The tartar sauce was delicious! Same as the cornbread. Prices were pretty cheap also.
This is was first visit to Ref's Bar and Grill and I will definitely be back. Their burgers are amazing and Etta the owner is a great cook. All the burgers are made from "never frozen" beef and they are so tasty! If you want a great meal at a very reasonable price, This Durand's best kept secret. Etta has daily specials that sound amazing. You will not be disappointed if you make the trip to Ref's!!!!
