Love this place!!!! Megan is so sweet and welcoming. The food is amazing!!!! We had their chicken Noodle soup and it was delicious! We will be back soon!!!

Tonight after working behind the chair for 11 straight hours, I decided to go out with my boyfriend and his buddy. When we got there, Meghan the owners daughter was seated at the bar, on the end able to view the entire bar. She WATCHED us get id'd by the bartender. We drank and sat there for about 2 hours and closed out. I had went to the car and was outside for 10 minutes when I get a text that she's holding our friends Id hostage because she thinks it's fake. Cool, I've seen at least 4 drinks in her hand at this point this will be fun. 10 more minutes and my boyfriend comes outside to tell me to park up because the police are coming to validate. I park up and go inside fuming obviously, because all I can think about is how bad my feet hurt, and the fact I have to work in the morning. As soon, as I came in and started dialing the phone, they gave it back and told us to leave and not come back. It's obviously a mutual break up. I think maybe the Knotty pine needs to take a step back from the family business model, or maybe get some help for some clear behavioral issues as she was basically Belligerent when I walked in, and the bartender on staff mentioned this is the third time this week. But I do have to give a big shout out to the gentleman that was on staff tonight, he was a great mediator in the situation and diffused the situation properly ( our buddy is 22, classmates verified his age, as well as another friend of his that happened to be there) and he was a great host up until that point. He deserves a big raise.

Spent a whole night drinking there. Was carded when I walked. After I was closed out and leaving a random girl walked up to me and tried to card me. She claimed that she was the daughter of the owners and snatched my buddies license claiming it was fake. After a long argument I said to please call the police to sort the situation out so I can go home. She screamed at me that I should call the police because it's my friends license. After a lot of yelling the other bartender that IDed us in the first place grabbed the license out of her hand and tossed it to us and told us to leave fast. I don't know if this woman's parents actually owned the bar. I do know that she was black out drunk screaming and causing a scene over a state issued drivers license. Clearly never going back because they cannot keep their so called employees in line, accept for our bar tender who was very nice I didn't catch his name but I hope at some point they get more people like him.

One of our local haunts for the past 15 years. Watched Super Bowl here. Excellent family and party atmosphere .wow what an intense game experience. Will watch next week's Daytona 500 here as well. Curt Cindy and their daughters and grandchildren really make it a family experience!!

A few years back we would drive out to this place from Downers Grove to eat with local friends. Excellent food and memories. We have since moved closer so we'll be returning soon. Can't wait.
