Always a great stop when hanging out in the area!

I used to come to this place frequently because the beer was good. Well I walked in to get a simple Oktoberfest beer and handed the owner, who was working and told me she can’t serve me because my ID said “federal limits may apply”. She told me she can’t serve me and I simply ask why and she proceeded to tell me i shouldn’t have an ID if I don’t know what that means. I asked if she wanted to see my military ID. She says “I don’t care” so that’s another thing. Must not support the military. Anyway “federal limits may apply” just means you don’t have a REAL ID that the government is not even enforcing yet. So if you don’t have a REAL ID don’t bother.

We love this place! Great beer and atmosphere for a casual drink or a larger event. We come here frequently and even had our wedding welcome event here. Theresa and the whole staff are simply wonderful. Such a great spot in downtown Dundee.

Nice variety of Lagers,IPAs,Stouts,Sours and Ales.
I started with their light lager - Bike Path which as described was very light.only 3.7 ABV.

My favorite beer was Monkey Wrench..a smooth Vanilla Porter 6 ABV.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating ..no food options that I could see.

Can't wait to go back and try a few more of their delicious beers on tap.

Anthony is a great bartender. Beers are fantastic. Great Hazy’s and there is much more than that. Nice outdoor seating too. Check it out!

I cannot say enough good things about Black and Gray Brewery! I have been a few times and always have had a phenomenal experience between the amazing brews, kindest staff, and immaculate vibes. A few weekends ago, we hosted my brother’s 30th birthday at Black and Gray and it was absolutely perfect. As always, the staff went above and beyond to make the experience amazing for the entire party and the drinks were superb too. If you are thinking of visiting Black and Gray, do it. You will not be disappointed but rather will find your new favorite spot for some great beers. Thank you Black and Gray for always being the best of the best! Cannot wait to come back soon.

We had my son's 30th surprise birthday party here and to to say it was awesome is an understatement. Everything was perfect from start to finish and a fun time was had by all. I received several compliments the next day from some of the party goers about what a great place it was. We had over 60 people in attendance and there was plenty of room for all to enjoy and the planning process was very easy with Teresa and Anthony. They worked the event too and it was smooth sailing the entire time we were there. THANK YOU Teresa and Anthony for going above and beyond to make sure the party was the best that it could be! CHEERS!

Not ready to finish my day but ready to sit down with a beer and crank out a few Yelp reviews, I stopped at Black & Gray at 4pm and stuck around for a few hours. The beers were cold, the seating was comfortable and the wifi worked well.Two of their Bike Path Light were crisp, delicious and enjoyable.

Vibes were off. Arrived there at around 10 pm on a Friday night. Only myself, my boyfriend, and another couple were there. The bartender was neutral, not friendly but not rude. I had asked for a cup of water and had served me a bottle of water since they don’t do cups of water although my boyfriend was getting a beer so it’s not like we were going there for “free.” Not sure, but it was just a strange atmosphere. I have been to several breweries around the country, and I am disappointed in Dundee for having this kind of brewery. Need to come up with event ideas if they want to serve more customers on a Friday night where everyone is partying. You go to the bars around that area, they are packed at 10 pm on Fridays. Hoping this place figures it out soon or it will go out of business in the near future.
