A great outdoor space. Our server was friendly and fun and very efficient. We enjoyed a great evening. Food was wonderful. Especially the oysters. So fresh. So yummy. And the wood fired artichokes were fantastic. The pizza was fair. It was soggy on the bottom. Crispier would have been better.

Food is just so-so but expensive. My kids ordered lemonade and they served it in a short glass like a cocktail filled with ice so of course it was gone before their food even came and this is $4 for a lemonade !!!

Wow what a great little gem. Love the vibe going on. Had dinner outside which was very comfortable. The food and service was absolutely incredible . Love the touch of the mixology behind the bar!!! The drinks just sealed the deal !!!! Will be back again !!!

We just love this place. The food is so delicious with fresh tastes. And the ambiance makes it feel so relaxing. And then there are the cocktails which are very unique and so tasty.

Gave this place a second shot, and so glad we did. We had an amazing server, Brian. He took care of us really well! Food and drinks were outstanding!! The place is absolutely adorable, indoor and outdoor. Felt like I was in Europe, beautiful place. Kathleen really made it a great experience for us. Highly recommend this place!!! Definitely will be back soon

Service was fine and server really cared. The atmosphere was fine ...a little better than average. The oysters were good but my entree of steak frites was really bad. The potato frites were like eating leather. The meat was dry from being overcooked. A very disappointing meal. I would never go back.

I recently visited Mockingbird Bar + Garden, and it was awesome! From the moment I stepped in, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff. The service was very good, and the cozy ambiance inside made it the perfect spot for a relaxing evening.
I was impressed by the diverse options offered on their menu, and everything I tried was delicious. Their eclectic drink selection was a very nice touch — I highly recommend exploring it!
The outdoor garden area is also very inviting and beautifully designed for their smaller space. It has a nice view of the bike path.
This spot is a must-visit and has earned a spot on my favorites list.
There was no coffee at all. The artichoke deep was served with old, dry, crocked bread, impossible to bite up. ( I returned the dish). The chicken was gross, drowned in oil. One part I fed to the dog, and the second one I returned with the used dishes. ($18). The tough one leaf salad sprinkled with frugal amount of Parmesan for $8. We paid over $24 + $5 tip and left the restaurant hungry. In the summer of 2023 we ate there every Saturday and the food was excellent. It was our last visit

Dining al Fresco on a beautiful summer evening on an inviting and comfortable patio - a highlight of 2024. The team approach to service meant that the staff was always at hand for any request and to bring more delicious food. We ate our way through the menu, deviled eggs, white fish pate, artichoke dip (wood grilled bread). Sampled the chicken thigh entree, pig and fig wood fired pizza and finished with bread pudding and pine nut strawberry cake. Menu is seasonal so we can continue to return and try more delicious items. Cocktails are imaginative, beautiful and delicious. We enjoyed the Zodiac theme. Exceptional experience.
Overall a nice date for my wife and I. Nice atmosphere and very welcoming. Great staff, and a great patio to sit and enjoy a summer night. Drinks were great. Food was passable. We didn't try their signature pizza (which I will go back for, one of the patrons said it was the best they have had) but did try the deviled eggs and artichoke hearts, both were ok. I really like the feel of West Dundee and where things are going and Mockingbird helps with that vibe.

While the ambience at this restaurant is lovely and quiet on the patio we had some issues from the get go. 3 people out of our party of 5 had issues with their cocktails either being made incorrectly or needing to be adjusted. Only offered one type of Gin and it was very bitter. 2 people had the grilled whole branzino and while it was very moist and good, it only came over lettuce with some pickled red onions and radishes--no real vegetable or starch. Bread was good and the steak frites was excellent. The final issue was the restaurant does not serve decaf coffee! Our party really wanted coffee and conversation after dinner so hard to understand why they don't offer that. Also just to note that inside the restaurant the music was quite loud--would never want to dine inside.
