The owner is very rude I'm not sure why this place is still open. If you are people of color or have family that is I would choose another place.

Loved it. The owner is sweet, and the food is outstanding. If you have a hearty appetite, you will need desert to fill up, however, as with most tea rooms, portions are small.

It’s been years since I’ve been here and it’s still a cute place to dine for lunch. I love the atmosphere! Monica gives great service and has wonderful lunch options.

My wife was looking for a tea room in the Peoria area. In her search, the Emerald Tea Room came up. It was conveniently located in East Peoria near a few antique shops. It is open from 11 am to 2 pm Tuesday through Saturday. All of the food is made in house. The soups were excellent, great sandwiches, bread and desserts. It is family owned. The service was delightful.

The food was excellent! The atmosphere was cozy, and all the patrons were super friendly. One regular even took the time to talk to me about some of her recommendations and proceeded to tell me what her family enjoys as well.It was my first time there, so it was much appreciated. I got 2 different soups because I couldn't choose. The Cream of Zucchini was perfect. The Cheesy Vegetable was good, but I definitely liked the other one better.My husband got the Cesar Wrap, and he loved it. I got the Turkey on Croissant and thought it was very good. My favorite was the pasta salad! I loved the texture and flavor of it! Will be back!

A lovely tea room. The food was delicious - especially the orange bread - yummy! A great little lunch place for the special ladies in your life.
