My daughter and I stopped for lunch while traveling. The place doesn't look appealing from the outside but we'll worth a stop. We both got a sandwich and the bread was the best part. Smells good and tastes even better. Sandwich was so big neither of us could eat more than half. Made a tasty leftover dinner. We both wish we lived closer to this place. Staff said the bread gets the most compliments.
Kid-friendliness: Bar and restaurant have separate entrances.

First time purchasing a couple pizzas from here. We went to pick them up. Lady up front checks them, looks at one of them, says "ew" and closes it up, then gave me a weird look. I don't know if she's saying ew to my selection, if there is something on the food that old, or if she was just being malicious. Didn't trust it, so we just it threw out and had the other pizza. Probably won't be coming back being it's my first impression but enjoy the food everyone.

Food and salad was good though they dont have much vegan salad dressing options and all the dressings had egg in them.
Vegetarian options: They have very good vegetarian pizza. We had Thin crust Veggie Supreme Pizza

We have ordered many times. The pizza is always great. Best around tonight was the first night. There was a mistake on our pizza. We called them. There was a fresh hot pizza here in 15 minutes. Highly recommend them.

Let me 1st say the pizza was great! Unfortunately the service left me with a bad taste. We went in at 7:45pm last night with a group of 5. The waitress quite literally threw her broom down in frustration that we came to eat there 45 minutes before they closed, and told us that we could not sit in this half of the restaurant. I'm ok with not sitting where she had already cleaned, except with 5 of us we had to sit at a smaller table and get an extra chair. She was obviously rushing us to get our order in, which we did in a normal amount of time. We ordered cheese bread and 2 Pizzas along with 5 drinks which came to just under $70. We sat with empty drinks while the waitress cleaned around us the entire time. I'm not against cleaning while we are there, but I'm not a fan of being treated like we are a problem. We got 1 refill of drinks when she brought our food out, and I had to politely ask her to get another drink while she was cleaning, otherwise it was apparent that it would have sat empty the entire time. We finished, paid, and left all before they closed at 8:30pm. So it's not like we kept them there late. While the pizza was great, with service like that I don't think we will be back.

So we ordered supper from firehouse pizza in East Peoria, IL like we frequently do. Our total was $24.58 I handed the delivery driver $40, 2 $20 bills and she looks at me and said "are we good?" We live 1/4 of a mile away and the total was less than $25. I said, "can I have $10 back?" She gave me a dirty look and went, "hmm" Are you kidding me? That's already a 20% tip and you give me attitude I didn't give you $15 to drive 1/4 of a mile? Wow...

The attitude showm from lthe young lady making the pizza with the tattoos was ridiculous. I Show up to pick up my pizza and apparently someone else took my XL supreme. I asked the lady to remake the small pizza that was ready as I wanted it fresh. More attitude happened. Very unprofessional and very disappointed as their pizza is very good.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of dining out with a dear friend at Firehouse Pizza, located at 240 S Main in East Peoria, IL. We were greeted immediately upon entering and invited to sit anywhere we liked. As soon as we were seated, Brianna greeted us at our table, delivered menus, and took our drink order.
Brianna returned promptly with our beverages, explained the menu, and asked if we had any questions. She also informed us about the TV at our table and removed our menus once we had decided. Shortly after, Brianna brought out a large thin-crust supreme pizza, which turned out to be the best pizza I have ever been served in a restaurant.
The atmosphere was fitting and made me wonder if the local fire department had any equipment left at their station, given the authentic decor. I couldn’t find anything that could have improved our visit—it was seamless and buttoned up.
Thank you, Brianna, and Firehouse Pizza, for a wonderful dining experience.
