Fantastic BBQ. Happened to be in the area, gave them a try and was very happy I did.

Ribs were dry and tough!!! Coleslaw was disgusting and tasteless. Not a good idea putting raisins in the coleslaw!!! This is the second time I thought I'd give it another try. COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED!! WASTED MY DAMN MONEY!! NEVER AGAIN!!

I loved it. It was my first time there . I thoroughly enjoyed it! The meat was so tender. I loved the sides too especially the sweet potatoes.

Decided to stop in here for lunch and were so glad we did. I had the rib tips with mac and cheese and collard greens. The food was amazing and service was great! Prices were also very reasonable. Definitely will be back the next time we're in town!

I had the BBQ Chicken Breast , yams , and Fries Okra. All was excellent. Will be going back. Only complaint is our Waitress never came back to our table.

Great food and great service! The burnt ends are excellent, and the best collard greens I've had. My husband said the wings are nice & crispy, just like her like them. Really good hand cut fries too. It's not too often I say there are too many fries, but next time we'll share a basket 😁.

I’m really on the fence about this place. The restaurant was calm for the lunch hour and we were seated promptly. The menu is simple and we were able to pick something without much thought. There were 5 other tables besides us. 38 minutes later we got our food. We were told the long wait was because I ordered the grilled chicken. Food looked and smelled good. The chicken was very dryyyyyy! I mean, very dry! Greens were watery and had no taste whatsoever. On the other hand, the yams and mac and cheese were amazing. S/O had the chicken wing combo and he said it was good. Fries tasted similar to those at Wing Stop. Service was okay. Maybe she was new? We chose this place to eat on a whim on our way back to Springfield. I don’t think I’d purposely choose this restaurant when we come back to Peoria, but I’d swing back by for those yams!

We loved everything they had to offer!
The portions were great as well as the flavor mmmmhmmmm!!!! We will definitely be back for more! They care about what they put out you can tell and loved seeing us devour every bite 🫶 highly recommend the candied yams and pulled pork well and the ribs and the brisket 😄 literally all of it was amazing! SO JUICY SO TENDER!
