Smokin' Notes BBQ - East Peoria

The Cece chicken is off the charts! You need a couple more stars on the rating for the food. The soda was a little watery from a full cup of ice, but we asked the waitress and she brought another with less ice and it tasted a lot better. The chicken/ cheese/bacon was outstanding. Just the right amount of char on it too. Good portion size. Fries were really good. I will definitely be coming here again. I'll be telling people about it too. I used to have The Smokers Blues Band here in town. This is like the food counterpart to our sound. But they split up. I really like this restaurant. I'll be back

I ordered the rib tips and brisket special everything was delicious the meats were tender and juicy my waitress falcity was attentive very polite the chef came out and greeted all his customers at there table made the whole experience feel like it was home and made me forget I was at a restaurant definitely will come back again

We enjoy great bbq & when traveling, we like to find a local establishment to try. We found Smokin Notes & were not disappointed. Lu warmly welcomed us when we entered & suggested several customer favorites. We chose Nick's Combo (ribs & brisket) with Annie's beans. Both were excellent in flavor, but the outstanding element of the meal was our server, Lu. Her bright smile, engaging personality & genuine interest in us was the best part of the meal!

So me and a couple of friends just tried this restaurant out for the first time. Our waitress Joy made our experience a joy. The food was plentiful and the price point was fair. Will be making this a regular rotation, when eating out.

Was in the area, looked up places to eat, and Smokin' Notes BBQ was on list. Figured try it out. Food was excellent with big portions. Had ribs and brisket, very good. Customer service was great as well. If ever back in the Peoria area, will definitely stop again

The food was absolutely amazing, and our waitress was so nice! We had the ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. Sides were potato salad, coleslaw, and candied yams. We tried the cheesecake for dessert too, but it was soo good we didn't get a photo of it! We will definitely be back!

Very disappointed. First time customer. Ordered a rib and brisket combo thru Doordash. Although the brisket was nearly perfect and the potato salad some of the best I've had, all the ribs were dry. I had to spit out half of it.

Not interested in trying again. Someone said the Smoking Pit had competition...I don't think so.

Food presentation of the pork salad was nice. Love the music. Waitress was awesome. Hubby likes calling ahead for quick lunch take out.

This is my favorite restaurant in the Peoria area and the best bbq I've ever had. If you're reading this, don't overthink. Do yourself a favor and eat here today!!!!

I stopped in to try this place out. I was here for the Ledgestone disc golf tournament. The staff were super friendly and helpful with all my ordering questions. Food was great, and I would love to come back here the next time I'm in the area.

Came in today at 11:45am as a bunch of friends recommended this place
Came specifically for a pulled pork sandwich and was told that they are out of pork and beef.

Will try again some day, hopefully they have everything in stock next time
