Well, I just don't like not having a waitress!!! View from the S&S wonderful however!! Food was actually good today.

I feel terrible for the employees that are overworked and understaffed but I completely wasted $40 on burnt fries and nasty chili macs. I'm not sure if the angel hair pasta will be staying on the menu but it was terrible in the chili Mac. My kids ate the chicken tenders, everything else was wasted.

Trash food, order completely wrong, horrible service, bench sticky and seating area sticky. Just disgusting, run away from this place, probably has roaches!!!

Not trying to be a Karen but these are my complaints
1. Horribly rude staff at this Steak and Shake
2. They have traded in scanners for employees at the drink station
3. They only have have kiosks and have traded that for employees
4. 1/2 of the kiosks don’t work
5. It took them 20 minutes to get one cheese fry and one milkshake out
6. Not clean
7. The employee had earbuds in while I was talking to them
8. Complete disregard for the customers
Order comes out wrong just about every time I go through the drive thru. I went in to get it remade, and I am treated as of I'm the problem. The manager then tries to hand me the same bag I handed to her. Would not recommend this location.

I went to the store last night to do a doordash and the workers were very rude to another door Dasher and I waited for 20 minutes myself and they said that doordash is not important to them. My order was not even started. The cook had an attitude and what's very rude I would never recommend even going to that store

Sat at the drive thru for over 15 min just to get to windiow and they running they mouth with each other and not taking orders

I miss the old style of service from before covid, but the staff are still friendly and quick. So we win some we lose some.

Recommended dishes: Steak Burger and Fries with Cheese
I came here for a simple kids steak burger with cheese, pickles and ketchup. Side order of fries as well. When I received my meal I got a burger with nothing on it, like who eats a burger like that? I waited for them to come back to the window, nothing. I had to honk to get someone's attention. After they came back I told them nothing was on it and there were no fries in the bag. They took it back and "fixed" it. Looked in the bag cause you know, you can't trust really anything these days. There was no cheese so had to get there attention again. They did end up getting it right after the third attempt, keep in mind this is a simple burger.
Steak and Shake has completely lost its luster by trading in servers and menus for kiosks and a soda machine that barely works. You have to scan a QR code from your receipt to fill a soda. Half the time, it doesn’t work. Instead of hiring a person to run the cash register and hand you a cup that you paid for, someone from the kitchen staff is constantly running up to the machine to try and fix it or give you a new QR code.
This particular restaurant was gross… dirty bathrooms, dusty, old, moldy nuggets in the booth. My friend’s Frisco Melt had half frozen toast, and her husband’s steak burger was pink and undercooked. It’s such a shame because I came here all the time as a kid, and it was hopping, clean, and fun. All that being said, I don’t blame these particular employees. This is the result of horrible, corporate decisions that cut corners to save a buck and are out of touch with customers.

We had to order ourselves and cleaned up spilled ketchup drinks sucked bought a regular and it gave me a small terrible place two go!!!!

Waited 45 minutes for my food and was told “we upgraded your chili to bowls because you had to wait so long” 🥴 They had fixed everyone’s food that came in after us but had erased our order from the computer screen.
