Good, affordable food, quick and friendly service, and an impressive menu. I've tried a good chunk of that menu and can vouch for everything so far. The Wonderdogs themselves are great, but they serve a number of other sandwiches and whatnot as well. I'm addicted to the philly and the polish, personally. As an outsider to the area, it took no time for me to see why Wonderdog is regarded as a local institution.

I paid for 6 wonder dog bulk with the works -I asked did they do the works like I paid for the rude staff says she is not making it over! What happened to making sure the customer is satisfied?! I paid for something I never got!

This will the last time I go to The original wonderdog in East Peoria. Ordered a tenderloin, very greasy, grease has not been changed, tenderloin was very dark. Meat was very tough. Ordered 4 wonderdogs, they were very greasy. Ordered a large order of fries, very greasy. Ordered a tamale, did not get it. $25.00 was a waste of money, should of throw the money out the window. WAS really happy to see this opened back up in East Peoria, but will never go back.

Been going here for a long time and glad it finally reopened after the fire they suffered earlier in the year. Great food at very respectable prices and you don't need to tip. Need I say more!
For the price, the food was great! Had a chicago dog (4) and a pork tenderloin(4.5) sandwich. Large fries(4) and a large drink $15. Very affordable and better than average food!

This is THE place to go for an affordable lunch of classic menu items. Tamales, tenderloins, cheese fries, and the incomparable original Wonderdog made locally famous at the old Velvet Freeze in Peoria.The food is great, the prices won't break the bank, and you'll always leave satisfied!

Growing up my Papa, would get me 6 Wonder Dogs from VF. These Wonder Dogs do not taste the same. They are missing an umph to them. The hot dog tasted as if it wasn't even cooked all the way. Like pulling out a cold Vienna Sausages. What some bomb toppings. I know weird right? The Tamale with cheese was pretty good. So, yeah to that! Customer Service was great at the corner. The place is kept well clean, it's cute.
