Best steakhouse in the Peoria area! The quality of the food, particularly the steaks, was truly excellent. We were a part of three men - each had a different cut of beef - and each of us were very pleased. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. We share appetizers which were also very good - the crab cakes arrives with visible CHUNKS of crab. Somehow we even had room to share carrot cake - which did not disappoint! Our previous experience was fantasticly stellar but it was a few years ago. This time was mediocre and I hope it was just an off night. I've never had prime rib seared. It was more of a ribeye than prime rib and the au jus and meat was not well seasoned. The surf and turf was ok. The filet was advertised as 6oz but looked maybe 4 or under like it wax the tip of the tenderloin. The lobster tail was the best part of the night and was very well cooked. Meh. Went light with salads and appetizers. If you like curly endive you'll like the salad. Very salty croutons. If you like kitchen bouquet you'll like the French onion soup. If you like bacon you L like the wrapped shrimp appetizer. Glad we didn't waste our money on entrees.
